School of Life Science Ranked in Top 25

Several years ago the faculty members of various biology-related disciplines reorganized themselves into a new School of Life Sciences, which represented fresh foci, innovative linkages, and renewed energy. Those faculty members, with their tremendous creativity and enthusiasm, have now helped to move ASU into the ranks of the top 25 of all university faculties in the world in the biological sciences. You can read the full article here: http://www.guardian.co.uk/news/datablog/2011/may/04/top-100-world-universityrankings-medicine-biology-psychology This is a significant achievement in light of ASUs focus and commitment to exemplary undergraduate teaching and learning and, in that context, it marks a unique and unprecedented hallmark for ASU.

Kaplan Practice Test

FREE Practice [GRE, LSAT, MCAT, DAT, OAT, and PCAT] 10am Saturday September 17th SCOB building (2nd floor lobby check in)

On Saturday September 17th at 10am, Kaplan is holding a FREE opportunity for students to take a practice GRE, LSAT, MCAT, DAT, OAT, or PCAT. The event will be held at Arizona State University in SCOB Building. This event is open to anyone who would like to take a practice test, even if you are not a current ASU student. Each test will last up to 3 hours and will be proctored like an actual exam. After the test, one of our amazing instructors will give a short workshop on test-taking strategies and will answer any questions that you may have. This is a great opportunity for students to see how they might score on the real thing, and also to get an idea of the kinds of questions that will be on the real test. The exams will be scored and returned to students later that afternoon with comprehensive feedback about their individual performance on the test.
