Clean and Green Talks: Chelmsford Library, Main Branch. Upcoming talks: Global Warming (Feb. 22) & Composting and Healthy Landscaping (March 28 - door prizes and refreshments). All are welcome! Rain Barrels: Residents can order discounted rain collection barrels from New England Rain Barrel again this spring. Distribution date to be determined. Call the Recycling Office for more information. Medical Sharps collection: Board of Health, 50 Billerica Road. Pre-register at least two weeks in advance to avoid fees. Brush Drop-off: Community Tree, 163 Billerica Road. Brush and branches up to 6 in diameter and up to 8 in length. Residents only (bring ID). Town-wide litter clean-up: volunteer on your own, with friends, family, your office, school, scouting or church group. Students can earn community service hours. Clean up trash littering your neighborhood, parks, etc. Bags, gloves available while supplies last. Earth Fair: First Parish UU Church, 2 Westford Street, Chelmsford Center. Crafts, food, music, story telling, earth friendly products and information. Household Hazardous Waste Drop-off, lower lot, Town Offices. TEWKSBURY Recycling Committee Styrofoam Day at Tewksbury Library, 300 Chandler St., Tewksbury. Chelmsford Residents welcome! See below for what to bring. Community Shredding Day, lower lot, Town Offices. Bring confidential documents ONLY. Chelmsford Residents only. Recycling at Country Fair: July 3 and 4. Strong, friendly volunteers needed! Styrofoam drop-off, lower lot, Town Offices for Styrofoam with a recycling symbol ( ) which is NOT accepted in our curbside program. See below for what to save for these events.
