PRODUCT ADVANTAGES Chlorine based disinfectants are highly toxic. Chlorine is used in human contact environments in very small dosages due to its high toxicity, however even in small dosages it can still have a cumulative effect and result in side effects on human health after extended exposure. Every year overdose of chlorine results in thousands of deaths around the world. ANTINFEK 10H in diluted form has no side effects on human, aquatic organism and the environment. Chlorine is only effective against a few waterborne diseases, whereas ANTINFEK 10H destroys all waterborne diseases, bacteria, and fungi instantly and on contact, with 100% decontamination results. ANTINFEK 10Hs cost is only a fraction of the cost of Chlorine, which makes ANTINFEK 10H the most economical decontamination agent in the market. Chlorine treated water contains a heavy smell, while ANTINFEK 10H treated water has no smell. Chlorine treated pool water affects eyes, skin, hair, and creates irritation; while water treated with ANTINFEK 10H has no side effects, creates no discomfort to the eyes neither skin irritation. ANTINFEK 10H prevents the growth of Algae in water. It is extremely effective against green, black, and mustard Algae. Chlorine evaporates rapidly from water and therefore the protection level in the water varies throughout the day and requires continuous daily addition of Chlorine. Even with these daily additions, bacteria levels fluctuate greatly, while ANTINFEK 10H offers consistent and long lasting protection. With just one application of ANTINFEK 10H, the bacteria levels are controlled for as long as 15 - 20 days. In addition to its lower costs, ANTINFEK 10H also requires much lower dosage than Chlorine and other chemical agents, Compared with Chlorine, the require dosage of ANTINFEK 10H is about 12 times lower. While Chlorine is very oxidizing and creates corrosion of pipes and equipment, ANTINFEK 10H is NOT-CORROSIVE. Therefore the use of ANTINFEK 10H leads to extensive savings and maintenance costs. Further more the shipping, storing and handling of ANTINFEK 10H does not require any precautions due to its lack of toxicity and explosion risk.

The active ingredient of ANTINFEK 10H can be processed in temperatures of up to 200 C (392 Fahrenheit) without losing its effectiveness and with no harm to human beings, while Chlorine in hot showers and hot baths evaporates rapidly and creates toxic Chloroform Gas. It also can spread through the house and be inhaled by others. According to research conducted in the United States and presented to the American Chemical Association as well as numerous research projects conducted by other scientists, it was determined that house-holds can receive 6 to 100 times more of the chemical (Chlorine, etc.), by simply breathing the air around showers and hot baths than if they would drink the water. ANTINFEK 10H bactericidal efficiency was tested against chlorine and sodium hydrochloride in compliance with International Sanitary Regulations. The effect of river water decontamination was observed at the compound dose of 0.4 mg/l, and the virtually complete 100% inactivation of such microorganisms as HPC, GCB (General Coliform Bacteria), TCB (Thermo Tolerant Coliform Bacteria), Staphylococcus, Salmonella, Cali Protobes, Pseudomonas Aeruginosage, Sulfite reducing Clostridial Bacteria occurred at the compound dose of 0.4 mg/l, wherein the required decontamination level with the use of chlorine is attained at 4.5 mg/l and with the use of sodium hydrochloride is observed at 2 2.5 mg/l. Disinfection by-products are created when chlorine reacts with natural substances in water. Some disinfection by-products are suspected of harming human health by causing cancer or adverse reproductive effects. Scientists are studying this suspected link. While they conduct their research, water treatment agencies are continuing to reduce disinfection by-products in our water to the lowest level possible and looking at organic alternatives such as ANTINFEK 10H.

K)

L)

Since the discovery of Trihalomethanes (THMs) in 1974, drinking-water professionals have recognized the need to modify traditional chlorine disinfection practices in response to new knowledge about the formation of these chemicals. THM (four closely related chemical compounds) are formed when chlorine is added to water from reservoirs containing naturally occurring matter, such as leaf and plant debris. In 1979 an international standard was adopted requiring that THMs in tap water be less than 0.100 ppm, based on a running annual average. In November 1998, US and European governments proposed new regulations that will the running annual average standard to 0.080 ppm, and today it is lowered even further, a strategy has also been endorsed by the World Health Organization.

In changing the THM standard, the WHO has recognized the need to weigh the lifetime risk of cancer caused by disinfection by-products against the risk of disease caused by waterborne microbes. One way to reduce exposure to disinfection by-products would be to lower the amount of chlorine used for disinfection, but that is likely to increase the potential for waterborne disease. Therefore international health agencies are working at finding the right level of disinfection, in order to control waterborne pathogens, while minimizing the lifetime risk of cancer caused by the use of an organic agent such as ANTINFEK 10H. 3.0 SUGGESTED APPLICATION & DOSAGE OF ANTINFEK 10H

ANTINFEK 10H can be simply substituted for Chlorine, industrial antiseptics and bleaches in any environment. No special equipment or system modifications need to be made, where the dosage is issued in liquid form. ANTINFEK 10H has no smell, and is non-toxic. A) In the case of potable water, where the possibility of waterborne-diseases exists, mix 0.2 mg of ANTINFEK 10H per 1 liter of raw water to be purified. The dosage rate of 1 liter (0.264 GAL) of ANTINFEK 10H can treat 5,000,000 Liters (1,321,004 GAL) of water. In the case of waste water or water that has passed through a solid filtration, mix 0.4 mg of ANTINFEK 10H per 1 liter of raw water to be purified. The dosage rate of 1 liter (0.264 GAL) of ANTINFEK 10H can treat 2,500,000 liters (660,520 GAL) of water.

MEASURING THE ANTINFEK 10H CONCENTRATION IN THE WATER

To measure the remaining concentration of ANTINFEK 10H in the treated water, DOVE BIOTECH CO., LTD. provides a battery operated pocket photometer with suitable reagents. To determine the exact residual, a sample of 2ml of treated water is poured into a bottle with the reagent. After three minutes the bottle can be placed into the compartment of the photometer, and after a few seconds the photometer indicates the exact concentration of ANTINFEK 10H of the sample in mg/liter. The photometer is calibrated for a concentrations of 0 1.0 mg/l.

HOW ANTINFEK 10H DESTROYS BACTERIA

Cell-walls of bacteria are primarily used for protection against hostile environments, and in the case of pathogenic bacteria against the immune system of the host. They contain Peptidoglycan, which can be made visible in Gram-positive bacteria by staining. The cell wall of Gram-positive bacteria consists of many polymer layers of Peptidoglycan, which is connected by Amino acid, like a grid. On the other hand the cell wall of Gram-negative bacteria is much thinner, being comprised of only 20% Peptidoglycan, and also has two unique regions which surround the outer plasma membrane (Periplasmic Space & Lipopolysaccharide Layer). ANTINFEK 10H active ingredient is a positively charged (Cationic) polymer, which binds to bacteria and results in degrading and disrupting the cell membrane wall, by eliminating important gradient or gradients. The degrading enzymes leave tiny holes on the cell wall, which causes the cell to leak. The ANTINFEK 10H molecules then enter the bacterium plasma membrane, and through the cell wall enter the cytoplasm (protoplast) through the holes and completely destroy the Nucleoid.
