MORAL PANIC RESEARCH Working in pairs, you are to research and write about the effects of a Moral Panic (e.g. Rihanna, Phone-hacking, Riots, Game Addiction, Racist footballers) on young people. You need to:

MORAL PANIC REPORT You then need to work individually to discuss the following in a Written Report OR a Series of Vlogs. You need to:

Define the term Moral Panic (give examples) Discuss and apply Audience theory (passive or active consumption, culmination theory, hypodermic needle model, two-step flow, uses and gratifications) to your Moral Panic Discuss and apply Audience Responses (reception analysis, participatory, cultural competence, fan culture) to your Moral Panic Discuss the Effects debates (effects of exposure to explicit sexual or violent content, effects of advertising, health concerns, censorship debates) to your Moral Panic Add a Conclusion summarising the debate with reference to quotes and your research

Once complete, your Written Report OR Series of Vlogs will be uploaded to your Blogger.
