WORK EXPERIENCE
Byte Consulting Pvt. Ltd. (August 2009 Present) Byte Consulting is one of the pioneers in providing Research and Analytics support and technology consulting services in the Fixed Income and Real Estate Domain

Analytics (September 2010 Present) Working in a team of 10 to provide services in the securitization market Solely responsible for the modeling and rolling of Student Loan ABS (SLABS) deals Need to keep track of around 70 deals and their on time deliveries to the client Have experience in communicating directly with the client to resolve any issues/setting deadlines Have also modeled a US RMBS type deal where the collateral being securitized was rent receivables Technology (August 2009 August 2010) Was involved in a technology consulting project to create a database of property tax and property appraisal information of all counties in US Worked in a team of 5 to provide technology development and support services Developed C#.NET code to implement various web-based functionalities

SUMMER INTERNSHIP Research Project in Quantum Information at Wilfrid Laurier University, Waterloo, Canada (May-July 2008) Characterization of Multiqubit Non-locality The project included the study of multiqubit entanglement and non-locality. Developed MATLAB and C++ codes to optimize a multi parameter function that can be used to quantify the amount of quantum nonlocal information in a system of multiqubits. Analytically deduced the point of non-locality for four and five qubit case. Suggested a trend in the point of non-locality for higher qubit cases, which would be studied upon by future students.

ACADEMIC PROJECTS Graduate Thesis (Department of Physics, IITB) (August 2008 onwards) Graphene Multilayers Worked on finding the electronic band structure of monolayer Graphene using tight binding model. Studied the effect of introducing another layer to monolayer Graphene on some of its properties. Junior Thesis (Department of Physics, IITB) (August-November 2007) Quantum Hall Effect in Graphene Studied the structure and electronic energy levels of Graphene. Learnt the phenomenon of Quantum Hall Effect and studied how Graphene is able to exhibit it at room temperature, which normally occurs at very low temperatures. Reviewed various applications of Graphene in research and their potential use in forming the base of transistors, instead of silicon.
