Christmas Parade
The Cadets and the honor guard participated in the Anderson Christmas Parade. Under the direction of Captain Cunningham, 2LT Deborah Wayland, and Major Godfrin the unit maintained good discipline. Although many of the cadets were new to the CAP and to marching they did an excellent job.

Christmas Party
I understand that this was one of the best attended Christmas Parties in squadron history with a good crowd of cadets and seniors with their families. Unfortunately, there was source of light pollution that interfered with the quality of the pictures. Fortunately, the one good one was the one below.

Wreaths Across America

The squadron responded to the request of the national commander to all units of the Civil Air Patrol to participate in the Wreaths across America ceremonies by assisting with the ceremony at the MJ Dolly Cooper Veterans Cemetery on December 11, 2010. The cemetery had already planned the ceremony and had received funding from the AT&T Pioneers. Captain Hugh OHandley coordinated the efforts of the squadron to assist with the ceremony. 2LT Deborah Wayland and the cadets provided the honor guard for the event, with the Senior Members passing out programs, laying wreaths, doing whatever was asked of them. The Squadron has taken on the task of raising funds for the 2011 ceremony.
