RENTAL AGREEMENT This rental agreement is made on _______________ Between Mr/Ms.____________________, S/D/W/o. Mr.

_______________, aged about ____ years residing at _______________, hereinafter called Landlord And Mr./Ms. ____________________, S/D/W/o. ________________, aged about _____years residing at _________hereinafter called Tenants WHEREAS THE LANDLORD is the sole owner of the property more fully described in the Schedule I and the tenant has requested the landlord to rent the property and it has been agreed that

1. The property is let out to for a period of _______ months from the date of the agreement. 2. The tenant shall pay a rent of Rs._______/- per month till the termination of the agreement. 3. The rent for the previous month shall be paid within 7th day of every consecutive month, failing which an interest shall be payable at the prevailing bank rate, unless agreed otherwise. 4. The security deposit shall be repayable only on hand over of the premises by the tenant in the "as is" condition at the time of letting out.

The Tenant shall not lease, sublease or assign the premises without the prior written consent of the Landlord. 8. The Landlord may enter the premises at reasonable times for the purposes of inspection, maintenance or repair, and to show the premises to buyers or prospective tenants. 9. Tenant agrees to occupy the premises and shall keep the same in good condition, reasonable wear and tear excepted, and shall not make any alterations thereon without the written consent of the Landlord. 10. Tenant agrees not to use the premises in such a manner as to disturb the peace and quiet of other tenants in the building. Tenant further agrees not to maintain a public nuisance and not to conduct business or commercial activities on the premises. 11. Tenant shall, upon termination of this Agreement, vacate and return dwelling in the same condition that it was received. 12. The parties shall give a mutual notice of 3 months for vacation, either written or oral as may be mutually accepted. 13. Landlord has provided one ceiling fan, three tubelights, one closed steel almirah to the tenant. The same should be given back on as is where is condition at the time of vacation. 14. The agreement terminates on ______________ and the tenant shall vacate the premises and hand over dwelling to the land lord on or before the said termination date.
