EASTER SUNRISE SERVICE

Thanks to all who helped make this mornings Sunrise Service a success. Many folks are not in the custom of rising this early, but like Mary & Martha, when you arise early to see Jesus, it is a joy to discover Him face to face. Thanks to The Saints Alive and Chancel Choirs for sharing with us. Praise is due to our hard working A/V Team and those who helped with the logistics of setting up and taking down the chairs. We appreciate you! Art Sunrise Service Bible Study Morning Worship No Evening Worship

WHAT'S UP I hope everyone had a great Spring Break. We had a great time with some of our activities this week and I appreciate all the youth that participated. Although we all got some down time, things are about to speed up. We have a lot coming up in the month of April. This month seems to be focused on missions for the youth. We will be participating in service projects, a youth led service, and 30 hr Famine. I pray that this month changes our hearts and our perception of what Christian living is all about. Missions is not something that should be planned but missions should be a part of our daily walk. WHATS NEW The students of FBC are about to put into action what they have learned through the bible study they have just completed. I have giving each group $75.00 to fund their service project. Every group decided that they wanted to take the allotted money and make more with it for a greater impact. They are choosing to do as the "Parable of the Talents" suggest. They are going to be having several different projects to help multiply the funds. I am proud of our students for not just picking the easy way out and for using scripture to guide them. They are getting it! There are several different groups and they are all planning some great projects throughout our community. Please support them in any way possible. Pray that God multiplies their efforts and that the projects change someone's life eternally. Brian
