What are the exact emotions which are evokes in you, while you listen a song?
Its hard to discuss or either explain why and what emotions people would get while they listen a song. Is there a specific explanation? Is there a specific feeling for a specific song? Can we generalize? As people perceive and sensing in different ways, therefore people also have different opinions, feelings about a song, because everyone has a different taste of music. Some people like more classical, some rock, hip-hop, etc. Furthermore, its also depends on what mood we are in and what types of feeling does it evoke in us. Is it makes you blue? Or make you energized? Do you maybe get encourage by the song? Its also hard to describe what types of feeling you get while you listen deeply your favourite songs. What can be the reason that you have those as favourite songs, but not something else? Are those making you feel better? Is it because of the lyrics, or because of the tunes? Is the rhythm makes you relaxed or either makes you energized? First of all, if we would listen a song or a sound that makes us uncomfortable, nervous etc. the reason can be behind the tunes. Personally, I wouldnt have problem with a song because of its lyrics, but because of the tunes location, or might of the rhythm. For instance, no one likes the sound of construction in the street, because it has irritating sounds, melodies and after a while everyone will get annoyed by that sound. The songs that are I like more personally, the following: i. Climbing Up Iknimaya - James Horner ii. Enya - Only time iii. Michael Bubble - Home iv. Kati Wolf What about my dreams v. Lukas Yiorkas - Watch my dance vi. Coldplay Scientist vii. Coldplay Paradise The listed songs are the most recent ones in my playlist, however, I like more songs, but I believe to analyze what type of songs I mostly like, 7 is also enough. For instance, while I listen the first one in the list, I feel like in a race, when everyone put a lot of effort in it to win, and to make sure to complete all the challenges, and at a certain time, the world is opened and suddenly everything turned into a quite place. With this song, I feel encouraged, as the tunes are used to make people move and act. Furthermore, I feel afterwards listening this song that I can achieve whatever I planned to do. The fourth song from the list is different from the first one, however, makes almost the same feeling. The tunes are used in the fourth song is similar to the ones of the first one, but the lyrics makes different emotions inside me. For example, it talks about a situation, when the girl wants to live her own life, but her partner doesnt let her do that. She wants to break out, be free, and have her own dreams. The lyrics recalled some feelings from my past, maybe thats why I also get to like this song, not only for its tune. The third song also shows a lot about my personality, the tunes make the same feeling, but again, the lyrics gives more emotion; basically how I would summarise the song is, there is no place like home. Whatever place you go to, you will be always home sick. I wanna go home.

By conclusion, its hard to explain why we like or do not like a certain song. The songs what I like mostly are the ones that make me remember back for a certain memory. The one, that makes me feel what the singer want to tell. Can we make a good explanation why some people do not like a certain sound/song? I would say no, because every people have different taste towards song, and even though if we could describe for a person what song does she/he likes, the mood also effects the type of song what we would like to listen. Furthermore, passing years, our taste towards songs can also be changed, as we get wiser and older. Do you think you would like the same songs after 15 years? Maybe some would still be in your playlist, but not at the favourite part, but others would replace them. The reason can be because we would have some experience about life, some hard times would create a taste of sad songs, or the good times would bring a taste of happy and lively songs. Can we be certain what can make us evoke feelings about a song? No, because its difference from people to people. And only one reason can be, because of that: our taste is unique, because everyone in the world is unique!
