SELECTED ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Implemented in-house IT department, slashing costs from outsourcing. 1 National Bank of Arizona was spending excessive money on outsourcing IT services. Built internal staff from scratch to manage and support LAN, Desktop and IT projects. Reduced costs 30% and enhanced customer service. Identified solution, reducing expenses. 1 National Bank was expanding rapidly, causing costly challenges in implementation / support of telecom equipment. Recommended and installed VoIP as telecommunications solution and partnered with equipment supplier. Decreased cabling costs 33% per location or $1.5M total across 60 sites. Upgraded IT system, increasing production. Consolidation of Western/Midwestern Mutual of Omaha Contact Centers complicated by out-dated workstations. Installed new workstations for all contact center agents. Increased monthly call capacity by 4K, reduced average call time 15% and customer wait time 10%. Converted staff's technology 40 days ahead of schedule. Mutual of Omaha set 10 week deadline to convert all Motorola smartphones for 200+ staff to Blackberries. Assembled team of local technical staff and vendor reps. Converted and trained entire staff with complete Blackberry functionality in only four weeks. Relocated data center without interruption to business. 1 National Bank needed to move Corporate Data Center over weekend, giving IT department 52 hours to complete massive project. Coordinated activity of vendors and outside consultants. Completed task 12 hours early and under budget.

Consultant / Project Manager, Wells Fargo (a $93B Fortune 50 global financial services company), 2010 to present. Contracted to lead IT project teams associated with contact/data centers. Define and clarify complex project requirements, including scope, design, plans and schedules. Manage $1.5M budget. Information Services Manager, Mutual of Omaha, 2008 to 2010. Supervised all technology projects ranging from $100K to $5M. Oversaw WAN expansion, including new construction, staff, and equipment/communication infrastructure. Directed MAC and Tier 2/3 Support for Desktop/Telecom. Managed $1M budget and 12 staff. Vice President: Telecommunications, 1 National Bank of Arizona, 2005 to 2008. Hand-picked to lead task force commissioned to address complex tech issues with the telecom systems. Repaired/maintained issues pertaining to VoIP server/gateway and network infrastructure.
