PRECIOUS) with us through the righteousness of God and our Saviour Jesus Christ: (MEANS Jesus IS OUR God AND SAVIOR, THOMAS MY Lord AND MY God) 2 Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge,(HOW IS GRACE AND PEACE MULTIPLIED TO US? KNOWLEDGE, PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP) of God and of Jesus our Lord, 3 According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, (HOW MANY THINGS HAVE BEEN GIVEN TO US? ALL, NOT ONE DAY BUT AT SPIRITUAL BIRTH, THEN YOU HAVE TO GROW INTO YOUR FAITH) through the knowledge of him (HOW DO WE GROW THROUGH GETTING TO KNOW HIM) that hath called us to glory and virtue: (A MEANINGFUL LIFE) 4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: (WHAT ARE WE GIVEN? DO WE LIVE UP TO THOSE PROMISES?) that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature,(HOW ARE PARTAKERS OF THE DIVINE NATURE) having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. (WHAT IS THE LUST MINDSET? IVE GOT TO HAVE MORE, THATS NOT THE DIVINE NATURE IS IT? 5 And beside this, giving all diligence,(GIVING WHAT?) add to your faith virtue;(WHAT IS VIRTURE? CHRISTLIKE CHARACTER) and to virtue knowledge; (ADD WHAT TO VIRTUE? KNOWLEDGE IS GAINED THRU WORD AND PRAYER) 6 And to knowledge temperance;(ADD WHAT? WHAT IS TEMPERANCE? SELF CONTROL) and to temperance patience; (ADD WHAT? IF WE ARE NOT CAREFUL WE CAN BECOME SO SELF RIGHTEOUS WE BECOME LIKE THE PHARISEES AND THINK WE HAVE ARRIVED AND NOBODY ELSE HAS AND BE IMPATIENT WITH OTHERS) and to patience godliness; (THEN WHAT? Paul SAID WE CAN HAVE A FORM OF GODLINESS BUT DENY THE TRUTH) 7 And to godliness brotherly kindness; (NEXT IS WHAT? BROTHERLY KINDNESS KEEPS US FROM BEING HARSH) and to brotherly kindness charity. (THEN LAST BUT NOT LEAST IS WHAT? LOVE IS THE PROOF THAT WE HAVE PASSED DEATH TO LIFE) 8 For if these things be in you,( IF THESE THINGS BE WHERE? and abound, ( AND WHAT SHOULD THEY DO?) they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. (WHEN YOU BEGIN TO FEEL BARREN AND UNFRUITFUL PETER SAYS TO START WORKING ON THESE THINGS) 9 But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, (WHAT IS A PERSON WHO LACKS THESE THINGS? DO YOU LACK THESE THINGS? Jesus SAID THE PHARISEES WERE BLIND) and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins.(WHAT HAS A PERSON THAT LACKS THESE THINGS FORGOTTEN) 10 Wherefore the

rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: (IF WE HAVE THESE THINGS IT IS EVIDENCE OF OUR CHRISTIANITY, IF WE LACK THESE THINGS IT SHOULD RAISE A QUESTION IN OUR MIND) for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall: (IF WE DO THESE THNGS WHAT WONT HAPPEN?) 11 For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
