We are delighted to launch the very first North West Dental Study Club, hosted by Mellow Dental!
The North West Dental Study Club will host evening seminars which combine core topics in clinical education, with business development and a few networking opportunities too. The aim is to ensure that local dentists are connected and supporting each other in an education-based environment. The North West Dental Study Club is affiliated with the British Academy of Restorative Dentistry (BARD), which promotes excellence through education.

Referral Sedation Service

Dr Roy Bennett, Mellow Dental
I have a special interest in conscious sedation and I am keen to make the procedure more accessible to practices and their patients. If you are a dentist and wish to offer sedation to your patients, I can undertake or help with sedation in your own practice. I supply all the equipment, drugs and paperwork that are needed, allowing your team to concentrate on the treatment whilst we look after the sedation aspect. Sedation is of great benefit to patients and practices undertaking implants and oral surgery, those who gag easily or those who are simply anxious about treatment. With over 2,500 sedation procedures successfully completed, I am confident that this technique offers a comfortable and stress-free option for patients and practices. I strongly feel that there is a significant potential gain for a practice offering this service. I also run CPD verified courses in sedation for the whole dental team and a mentoring service for those who wish to undertake one-to-one training to build confidence through support.

Open to all members of the dental team. The first seminar with Chris Barrow is FREE. Registration for the whole series is 65!

Andrew completed the first UK MSc in Endodontics, is registered as a GDC Specialist and has been in referral practice limited to endodontics since 1990. Having had a special interest in sedation for many years and completing over 2,500 sedation treatments, Roys wide experience and training have allowed him to tailor care to his patients needs. Recognising the benefits of sedation, for both patients and dentists, he has recently founded Mellow Dental to help other practices offer this vital technique to their patients. Roy also runs a successful mentoring service and training course for those wishing to offer sedation at their practice.
