Ball over the cord -athletes throw a medicine ball back and forth over a goal or cord -the aim is to put the ball on to the ground inside the other team area
Warm Up
1-Start with ball behind one hip with weight more on that leg. -Throw the ball turning the side with ball towards the direction of the throw. -Finish in a balanced position.

Step 1

Put from power position -Coach demonstrate :-start with shoulders turned away from the direction of the throw -Remain in position after throw;maintain ground contact ( no recovery)
Athletes work in individual ( throw put 4 times) -all athlete standing in one line.

Important: -Body weight is carried on the ball of the right foot -heel of right foot and the toe of left foot are placed in line -Hip and shoulder are twist And left arm and shoulder are blocked. -right elbow is turned and raised in direction of the thrower.

To develope the glide action of the leg and link it with the delivery

1.Glide with a partner holding the free arm -Coach show the demonstrate with athlete.
-Body move from the forefoot on to the heel( partner pull the left hand) -free leg is driven low towards -support leg extend over it heel -support leg maintains ground contact through most of the glide 10 minutes 2.Continue glide along aline and stop in power position

-Perform with the shot,controlling and correcting the power position -strike of putting arm begins after full extension of the leg and trunk -left arm is bent and fixed close to the trunk. -acceleration is continued by the pre-stretched wrist(thumbs down,fingers turning out after the release) -feet are contact with the ground for the release.
