Intern, Newsquest Essex February 2012-Present Source and generate news articles working with QuarkXpress. Interviewed the public on important regional topics to supplement senior reporters copy. Independently researched and delivered feature pieces. Match Reporter, Non League Paper February 2012 Present Produce and file copy live from football matches to a tight deadline. Conduct interviews with managers and players as well as noting vital game statistics. Soundman, Two Chucks Ltd October 2011- February 2012 In charge of audio for the Australian leg of a UK-based cricket documentary. Used boom and wireless mics on location to conduct interviews under extreme pressure and time constraints. Part of a team interviewing the biggest names in International cricket such as Rahul Dravid and Mark Nicholas. Match Reporter, Spin Cricket December 2011- February 2012 Produced daily online match reports on the Australia v India Test Series. Editor, Label Magazine July 2010 September 2011 In charge of Loughborough Students Union bi-weekly magazine. Managed 120 media volunteers and provided opportunities for them to learn new skills. Created and developed the magazines first website, launching it in tandem with our live updates of the London student demo.
