 Ha’Misparim La’Debarim
The Numbers of the Words
by Craig Wm. Peters
His Name is Great in Yisrael
Elohim is known in Yahudah;  His Name is great in Yisrael!
Tehillim/Psalms 76:1
a

In this study, the Spirit not only reveals the importance of honoring the Name among all those who are, or who would be, numbered within the nation of Yisrael, but also revealed is the meaning of
hwhy
dwelling in the bush that burned but was not consumed at the time He first appeared to Mosheh when coming down from heaven to deliver our forefathers from bondage in Egypt. And a final, all-important point will be made in recognizing the zeal of
hwhy
which blazed to establish Yerushalayim on Mount Tziyon as a praise in all the earth. For that same zeal will be kindled in these Last Days to the end that
hwhy
is King over all the earth; in that day and at that time,
hwhy
will be the only One and His Name the only one.
On the Shabbat of 3/31/2012, a meditation was given which has many implications for identifying just who Yisrael is and for confirming the special purpose
hwhy
had in choosing our nation to fulfill His eternal will. And as
hwhy
 gathers the outcasts of Yisrael
1
into His Kingdom, the sons of light are manifesting His great Name and His salvation to the ends of the earth. Through the great truths seen in this present study, the Spirit of
hwhy
would further teach us about the relationship between honoring His Qadosh
2
Name and walking in “the ancient paths”—paths for which we are commanded to seek and to ask:
Thus says
hwhy
: Stand in the ways and see, and ask  for the ancient paths: “Where is this, the good way?” and walk therein, and you shall find rest for your souls.  But they said, “We will not walk therein.”
Yirmeyahu/Jeremiah 6:16 Many prophets are seen both
asking
and
seeking
for these paths themselves,
3
or else they are seen and heard instructing the sons of light to ask and to seek in like manner.

“Qadosh” (or “Kadosh”) is the transliteration of the Hebrew word (

) which means “set apart” and which is most often translated as “holy.”

“I Am That I Am” Appears to Mosheh
When
hwhy
first appeared to Mosheh on Mount Sinai, He revealed the greatness of His Name. While many are already quite familiar with this account, it is still important to number among those who are always willing to ponder a Scripture time and time again, especially as we learn the Hebrew language reveals the infinite riches of the wisdom and knowledge of
hwhy
which are hidden in the Mashiach.
5
For as soon as our Messiah shines His light and cabode
6
 upon the Torah,
7
we are once more blessed to see new and overwhelming revelation out of “the old”
8
—the ancient paths of His infinite, immutable wisdom and knowledge revealed in the Torah. Now to the Scripture account where
hwhy
declares His  Name and sovereign existence:
13 And Mosheh said to Elohim, Behold, when I come to the children of Yisrael, and shall say to them, The Elohim of your fathers has sent me to you; and they will say to me, What is His Name? What shall  I say to them? 14 And Elohim said to Mosheh,
 I Am that I Am
: and He said, Thus you shall say to the children of Yisrael, “I Am” has sent me to you.
Exodus 3:14-15 In Hebrew, the phrase “I Am that I Am,” looks like this:

hyha rva hyha

= I come to be that I come to be = I Am that I
Am

Ayeh asher Ayeh

I AM that I AM
 Only
hwhy
can say “
hyha
”, that is, “I (
a
) Am (
hyh
),” or “I (ever) Exist,” for He alone possesses immortality.
9
 And only
hwhy
can say “
hyha rSa hyha
”—“I come to be that I come to be,” or “I do/become whatever pleases Me—according to My good pleasure and My age-abiding purposes.”
10
 This reveals
some
of the meaning and importance of the Name of
hwhy
,
11
and in seeking more of His Word and ways, we also do well to ponder the
misparim/numbers
for the phrase “I Am that I Am.” We obtain the
misparim
for this phrase as follows:
12

5
 Colossians 2:2-3; Mashiach = Messiah
6
 The Hebrew “cabode” (
dwbk
) means “weight” and implies the greatest honor and splendor.
7
 2Corinthians 3:11-18
8
 Matthew 13:52
9
 1Timothy 1:16
10
 Daniel 4:35, Isaiah 46:10, Revelation 4:11, Psalm 33:11, 135:6
11
 Job 26:14, Malachi 3:16, Romans 11:33
12

==== 543 And we will immediately see why the number
543
is a value of such amazing significance. In Hebrew, the name of Mosheh has the following
misparim
 value:

 345 =
 (5) h
+
 (300) S
+
 (40) m
 =
hSm
= Mosheh = Moses But if the number 345 is
reversed
, notice we return, once more, to the number 543—the
misparim
of the Hebrew phrase, “I Am that I Am.” Consequently, we can safely say the One who is “543”
13
called “345” (Mosheh) to further reveal His  Name and His Torah. And yet, there is still more to leave us in awe of the Most High! We are yet further blessed to see that, if the Hebrew letters which compose the name of Mosheh (
hSm
) are written in the
reverse order
, we obtain the Hebrew word “ha’Shem” (
MSh
), a word which translates into the phrase meaning “the  Name.” For those who are in the beginning stages of learning Hebrew, we further explain that while
m
 (mem) and
M
 (mem)
look different
, they are still the
same
Hebrew letter. The latter mem (
M
) is called the “mem sofeet” because its form/shape is altered whenever it takes the
last position
in a Hebrew word. And having the same three letters as the name of the prophet, the
misparim
for the  phrase, “the Name” (ha’Shem) is, of course, equivalent to the
misparim
of Mosheh:

 345 =
 (40) M
+
 (300) S
+
 (5) h
 =
MSh
= ha’Shem = “the Name” Given the ministry of Mosheh was empowered by the Spirit to more greatly reveal the Name of
hwhy
, we assert it is
 far beyond the amazing
to see that the prophet’s name
reversed
is “ha’Shem,” the Hebrew word which means “the Name.” And once more, we are given great blessings of encouragement upon realizing the Sovereign Hand of
hwhy
—so often hidden to us in our human frailty and shortsighted, mortal vision—is nevertheless
there
whether it abides seen or unseen.
14
His ways are past finding out
15
 even as the shaliach
