Telemachos, Town bachelor!

For all of you Ithacan ladies out there waiting for Telemachos, the towns best bachelor, to come to our home and sweep you off your feet, you are going to have to wait. Telemachos, the son of current and missing King Odysseus, has recently hopped on a boat and set sail. Where did the bachelor go? The suitors of his mother, Penelope, claim that Telemachos with the help of many other famous Greeks has set sail on an odyssey in search of his missing father. Following the Trojan War, our King of Ithaca vanished leaving his wife and son alone. According to inside sources at the home of Odysseus, the suitors are awaiting the bachelors return. Not only is the compassionate Prince on a search of his father, demonstrating that he is a family man, he is also single and hopefully ready to mingle. From what the researchers from the Ithaca Gazette can determine about the Prince inside the castle, Telemachos is interested in sailing boats and looking for his father. Not only does Telemachos want a great relationship with his father, but he will also defend his mother. On day after Telemachos and Penelope were both upset with the suitors, and Telemachos took charge and asked her mother, sweetly, to retire to her room. Leaving the upper chamber almost in tears Penelope noticed how sensibly her son had spoken (19). Furthermore, Telemachos also cares deeply about his mothers feelings. When Telemachos decided to embrace his bravery and belief that his father was still out in the world alive Telemachos spoke to his nanny. Telemachos asked his nanny, []promise me on your oath not to say a word to mother for ten or twelve days, unless she asks herself and hears I have gone, or youll have her crying and spoiling her pretty skin! (30). Telemachos cares about his possibly widowed mother, and shows that he is only looking to spare her a few tears. In addition, Telemachos is assertive, making him a great bachelor because from an anonymous source when Telemachos was ready to set sail he shows his assertive and leadership qualities by having the men carry the supplies the boat and ordering that the men put a hand to the tackling. Telemachos, a man of great nature and many qualities including bravery, compassion, well mannered, and leadership, an attractive and eligible bachelor for all Ithacan ladies.
