CONTEXT IN I have completed this differentiated instruction quiz to show my professor the things that I have learned about DI in the
WHICH THE classroom. I used articles online to complete this quiz. I was able to see why differentiated instruction is so important, as well as
how to implement DI into a classroom. I was also able to read about the effects of not implementing DI into your classroom as
WORK WAS well.
COMPLETED:
BULLETED This product reflects knowledge that I have gained through completing the DI quiz. Through this quiz I was able to learn many
REFLECTION: things by reading the articles given to us by our professor on ANGEL. I was unaware that DI was so important in the classroom
and was also unaware of how you can implement DI into a classroom as well.

The following is a bulleted list of the references and tools I used to complete the DI quiz:

• Microsoft Word 2007

• Online articles, which linked to ANGEL
• My notes from the previous class
• My prior knowledge
• Page Layout tools on Word 2007

The following is a bulleted list of things that I learned through completing the DI Quiz::

• That DI is very important in teaching students in a classroom.

• Not every student learns in the same way.
• It is important to take into consideration each student’s needs when creating a lesson for your class.

• You don’t want to group students of the same learning level together. Mix all different types of learners together.
• You want to set high expectations for all students, because that way they are more likely to go above and beyond what
they are expected to achieve.

Although I have learned a lot about differentiated instruction, I still need to continue to research ways to implement it into a
classroom. By doing this I will have more of an advantage when I myself become a teacher. I have only started learning about
DI, and look forward to learning much more about it!
