For the film to be considered please include the following for each submission: 1. Two (2) copies preview DVD of the submitted film. (screeners) 2. The signed entry form filled out in German, English, or French. 3. CD with film stills (at least 3) and one photo of the director. All images should have a resolution of 300 dpi. 4. Press and marketing material (synopsis, credit sheet, directors biography, trailer, poster, postcard).

Guidelines and Regulations

March 2012 Please read these guidelines and regulations, the entry form, and the entry requirements (Page 4) in their entirety. The person who is filling out the Entry Form Submitter warrants that he/she has read and understood the guidelines, regulations, and requirements; and holds all necessary rights considering the usage granted to ALFILM Festival herein, and is authorized to grant and does hereby grant said rights to ALFILM. To be eligible for inclusion in the ALFILM Festival main programme, films must be completed no earlier than January 1st of the third year preceding the year in which the festival takes place. This does not apply for the FOCUS section. In case that films have dialogues in other languages than German or English, they must be subtitled either in German or English. Films must be submitted on DVDs (region 0 or 2) accompanied by a filled out entry form and all available promotional materials such as high-resolution electronic film stills (300dpi), full cast and crew credits sheet, and the directors biography. These materials shall be considered incorporated as part of your entry. DVDs should be labelled with the following information: title of the film, full name of the director, country, and year of production. ALFILM accepts submissions on a year-round basis. Entries received before May 31th will be considered for the festival taking place in November the same year. Later submissions will be considered automatically for the following year, there is no need to submit the same film again. Submission does not guarantee a screening of the film in the ALFILM festival. Entries will NOT be returned and become the property of ALFILM. You will be contacted by ALFILM only if the film is selected for participation. ALFILM screens only films available on 35mm, Digital Betacam SP, Betacam SP, Blu-Ray or DVD. The submitter is responsible for shipping the film copy to ALFILM, including payment of shipping, insurance, and customs fees. ALFILM is responsible for the return shipping. Please include return mailing labels and make sure all containers are properly labelled. The submitter authorizes ALFILM to use all submitted promotional material and less than 3 minutes clips of the film for any promotional activity of the film or the festival, including the clips broadcasting on televisions and their web sites, as on ALFILM website, and the festivals partners media and promotional web sites. The submitter grants ALFILM the right to present the film at press screenings and to screen the film on ALFILM festival.

Mars 2012 Veuillez svp lire entirement les directives et rgulations, le formulaire dinscription et le formulaire des conditions dentre (page 4). La personne remplissante, <<requrant>> assure quelle a lut et compris les directives et rgulations et les conditions dentre. La personne garde tout droit ncessaire considrant lhabilitation de lutilisation ALFILM par ce document et est aussi autorise dhabiliter les droits discuts ALFILM par la prsente. Les films ne doivent pas tre achevs avant le premier janvier de la troisime anne prcdant lanne o le festival a lieu, pour tre autoriss la participation dans le programme principal du festival ALFILM. Ceci nest pas valable pour la section FOCUS. Si les films comprennent des dialogues dans des langues autres que lallemand et langlais, ils doivent tre sous-titrs, soit en allemand, soit en anglais. Les films doivent tre soumis sous forme de DVD (rgion 0 ou 2), accompagn dun formulaire dinscription rempli et de tout matriel de promotion disponible comme les photos lectroniques du film haute rsolution (300 ppp), une feuille de donnes complte de lquipe et du casting, et la biographie du ralisateur. Ce matriel devra accompagner votre demande dentre. Les DVDs doivent tre labelliss avec les informations suivantes : titre du film, nom complet du ralisateur, pays et anne de production. ALFILM accepte les inscriptions toute lanne. Les demandes faites avant avant le 31 mai seront prise en compte pour le festival en novembre de la mme anne. Les demandes faites aprs cette date seront automatiquement prise en compte pour lanne suivante. Une seconde inscription pour le mme film nest pas ncessaire dans ce cas. Linscription ne garantit pas la projection du film lors du festival ALFILM. Les dpts ne seront pas renvoys et deviennent la proprit de ALFILM. Vous allez tre contact par ALFILM dans le seul cas de la slection de votre film pour la participation au festival. ALFILM ne diffuse que les films disponibles en 35mm, Digital Betacam SP, Betacam SP, Blu-Ray ou DVD. Le requrant est responsable du transport de la copie du film vers ALFILM, y compris le paiement du transport, de lassurance et des frais de douane. ALFILM est responsable du renvoi lorigine. Veuillez svp inclure des timbres pour le renvoi et assurez-vous que tout emballage est correctement tiquet. Le requrant autorise ALFILM dutiliser tout matriel de promotion soumis et des clips du film dune dure en dessous de trois minutes pour toutes les activits de promotion du film ou du festival, y compris la diffusion des clips et sur leur sites internet auprs des chanes de tlvision ainsi que sur le site internet de ALFILM, et les sites internet mdiatique et promotionnel des partenaires du festival. Le requrant habilite ALFILM le droit de prsenter le film lors de diffusions pour la presse et pour diffuser le film pendant le festival ALFILM.
