1 Grace or Law whodunit? My dear sister in Christ, Praise God for your zeal.

. In this world of spiritual apathy, it is great to read someone with a genuine passion for the Lord. However, it is with great sadness that I see the deception that you and so many millions of our fellow christians have fallen under. Allow me, with the guidance of the Holy Spirit, to help you I ask that, before you read further, you close your eyes and ask for the Spirit of Truth, (Joh 16:13 However, when He, the Spirit of Truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth.) to open your mind, not to my teaching, but to the teaching of God. Firstly, lets clear up something that lies at the heart of the problem: The Ten Commandment Law (the Moral Law) was NOT given at Mt Sinai by Moses. It was merely written down by God (on un-erase-able stone), (Isa 33:22) For Jehovah is our judge, Jehovah is our lawgiver, Jehovah is our king; He will save us.) but it has been since the beginning. Mosess law was given at Sinai for the first time, but not Gods law. If Gods law was only given at Mt sinai, then Eve didnt sin in the garden of Eden, Cain didnt sin by killing his brother and no-one prior to Mt Sinai sinned!
1Jo 3:4 Everyone who practices sin also practices lawlessness, for sin is lawlessness. Rom 3:20 because by the works of the Law none of all flesh will be justified in His sight; for through the Law is the knowledge of sin. Rom 7:7 What shall we say then? Is the law sin? Let it not be said! But I did not know sin except through the law. For also I did not know lust except the law said, You shall not lust. Rom 7:8 But sin, taking occasion by the commandment, worked in me all kinds of lust. For apart from law sin was dead. Without the moral law, there is no sin and we can all go around claiming to be holy. That would be great, but sadly it is just not true. Gods law convicts us of sin; it is the standard by which we are measured. By what or against what will we be judged if there was no law? Its just that simple.

You see, Gods law has been and always will be, eternal. There was no need for it to be written down though, prior to Sinai because
(Rom 2:14) For when the nations, who do not have the Law, do by nature the things of the Law, these, not having the Law, are a law unto themselves; (Rom 2:15) who show the work of the Law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and the thoughts between one another accusing or even excusing one another, it was written on mens hearts! However, come the Exodus, there was a problem. The Israelites had been in slavery for 400 years, living in a heathen, idolatrous nation. They had no idea how to behave as a nation (civil), as a church (ceremonial/sacrificial) and as a chosen race. So Moses, by divine inspiration, writes down the Mosaic laws, governing

everything from how to plant to how to sacrifice. It is here that some of the confusion starts Civil, ceremonial, sacrificial, moral. So many laws, so great a confusion! Well, not really. Its quite simple the Bible makes it so nice and clear for us. Gods Laws is eternal Moses law was temporary. Gods law was written in stone, Moses law written on paper. Gods law placed INSIDE the Ark of the covenant, Moses law placed BESIDE the Ark of the covenant. Etc etc etc So, which law was then nailed to the cross? Well its simple Mat 5:17 Do not think that I have come to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I have not come to destroy but to fulfill. The sacrificial system instated in the desert, was to teach, guide, instruct and lead a clueless nation to their God. The slaying of the lamb, together with the whole ceremony that went with it pointed toward an actual lamb that will come to be slain for a sinful world. When Jesus died on the cross, the veil in the temple, separating the Holy Place from the Most Holy Place, was torn from top to bottom, signifying that the sacrificial system was now done with fulfilled! Everything in the sanctuary service up to that point was to direct people towards the actual lamb that was slain for the world. Now that law was NAILED TO THE CROSS!!!!!! The Lamb of God was sacrificed and thus He fulfilled the law. No scriptural evidence exists for any other fanciful ideas. Jesus came, not to destroy, but to fulfil. So, if Gods Moral Law is eternal, and without it there is no sin (while we know full well that there is), and we now know which law was nailed to the cross, what is Paul on about when he says we are not under the law but under grace? Again, God makes this so simple that even a child can understand no need for a doctorate in theology, and no need to go into pages of discourses in order to justify a false and satanic doctrine if we take verses in isolation, out of context, I can find you biblical evidence that justifies me coming over to your house and killing you! Does that make any sense? Ofcourse not! The Jews had for centuries rejected the God and the coming Messiah. Their Pharisees had perverted Gods word to suit themselves and to yoke the people. Firstly, because they rejected the Messiah, they therefore also rejected the whole fulfilling the law issue. They continued with the sacrificial system even after the actual Lamb of God was slain. I dont know how, since the veil was torn maybe they got some duct-tape and repaired it. Not only did they continue with the sacrificial law, but they loaded Gods moral law with pages and pages of addendas added rules which were never in the Ten Commandments. Stuff like only walking a certain distance on the Sabbath, any further and your working. Pinning your handkerchief to the outside of your jacket, because if its in your pocket, you are carrying it and therefore working on the sabbath Stuff which made the law impossible to keep! Mat 15:9 But in vain they worship Me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men."

So Paul is talking to the Jews, as an ex-pharisee himself, in a contemporary setting, telling them to get rid of the junk and get with the funk! Listen, if the law says I can only go

3 120km/h and I go 140km/h am I under law or under grace? Im under law! The law convicts me of speeding, without a speeding law no-one can catch me and put me in jail, because there is no law forbidding me going 140km/h! But if there is a law, and I go 110km/h am I under law or under grace? Im under grace, because the law has no bearing on me I am obeying it and therefore it doesnt convict me. It cannot convict me because I am obeying it! It doesnt even affect me because I am going 110km/h, I am obeying it therefore I am not sinning (transgression of the law). Paul is telling the Jews that all these other junk rules they have added as well as the sacrificial law, which rejects the Messiah, must be done away with. (Rom 3:20) because
by the works of the Law none of all flesh will be justified in His sight; for through the Law is the knowledge of sin. Here Paul is saying exactly that by keeping all these crazy laws, you are trying to get to heaven by works rather look to Gods moral law to see where your real sin is and repent! Ofcourse Paul also means here that even keeping Gods moral law does not get you into heaven the law is merely a mirror for us to see our sin, but if you see the broader context, youll understand where Paul is coming from. (Rom 3:31) Do we then make the Law void through faith? Let it not be! But we establish the Law.The NIV uses the word uphold we uphold the Law. The Jews had added feasts and Sabbath years, and extra Sabbath days to Gods law and Paul was telling them that these things cannot save them But OK, lets get down to brass tacks; the issue here is not the Law as whole, its the Sabbath! No-one I have ever talked to, admits to suddenly being allowed to go murder someone, or to steal a car. But everyone I have talked to about this admits to being allowed to desecrate Gods Sabbath. These arguments can go around in circles for ages about Law and grace and nailed to the cross etc etc etc, but the issue is the Sabbath, nothing else. By misunderstanding, (or refusing to understand) Gods Law and the Mosaic law, by taking Pauls writing about law and grace out of context, by teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.", men thru-out the ages have attacked the Sabbath

WHY??
Why is this such an issue? Is it just a pastime of clergy to keep busy? To prove ones biblical knowledge? Why has the Sabbath become such a bone of contention? Why not the 6th commandment, or the 9th, or any other commandment? Why the 4th? Everyone I have ever talked to agrees that it is wrong to kill someone (who or what defines wrong?) but very few people says its wrong to desecrate the Sabbath. Yet we have massive discourses about the 4th commandment. Why? Is something going on? Is there a darker force at work? Is it a conspiracy? Maybe Diana was murdered, and 9/11 was a self inflicted wound, and Barack Obama is an alien! The truth is, there is something going on This argument about the Sabbath is not by chance The Sabbath issue is not a small thing (1Sa 15:29) Israel's majestic God does not lie or change his mind. He is not a human being---he does not change his mind."

If the Sabbath was kept at creation (long before Sinai, and long before a Jewish nation existed) and Jesus kept the Sabbath (even in death) and the Sabbath will be kept in heaven (Isa 66:22) For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make stand before Me, says Jehovah, so will your seed and your name stand. (Isa 66:23) And it will be, from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, all flesh will come to worship before Me, says Jehovah. why is this debate so current and so heated? We find the answer in Eze 20:12 And also I gave them My sabbaths to be a sign between Me and them, that they might know that I am Jehovah who sets them apart. God clearly states that the biblical Sabbath is a sign between Him and His people! Wow, if that doesnt blow you away, nothing will! Lets just have a look at this 4th commandment for a second this sign, this seal of God that sets them apart. What does the president of the USA need on his letterheads in order to show his authority? 3 things:

1)
2) 3)

Name Title Domain

: : :

Barack Obama President USA

(Exo 20:11) For in six days Jehovah made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day. Therefore Jehovah blessed the Sabbath day, and sanctified it. 1) Name 2) Title 3) Domain : : : Jehova made Creator heavens and earth

There it is Gods seal, His mark of authority, written into the 4th commandment. No other commandment has this little gem. So if Gods sign between him and His people is the Sabbath, if Gods stamp of authority is on the 4th commandment, if the ultimate defining factor of Gods true people is the Sabbath, where would Satan launch his fiercest attack? You guessed it on Gods Sabbath! So there is definitely a darker force at work! There definitely is a satanic deception out there for the express purpose of stealing people from God, from erasing Gods sign from the forehead (your seat of thinking and free choice) (Rev 14:1) And I looked, and lo, the Lamb stood on Mount Zion. And with Him were a hundred and forty-four thousands, having His Father's name written in their foreheads. You see, there is a reason behind everything nothing happens by chance. This debate we are having is not about who knows their Bible better, or which church is the right church Its about accepting Gods word. We can debate till the cows come home, the fact is, Gods Word stands there is no individual interpretation. Maybe I am going to fast. I just trust that you will prayerfully consider all this. Ask the Holy Spirit to guide your thoughts. This subject is so vast that 4 or 5 pages will never be enough to cover it. I talked a little about the sign of God, but if God has a sign, so does

Satan, and if so, whats the mark of the beast then? You see, this is all connected. Anyway, Ill leave you with some other peoples words, verbatim The Converts Catechism of Catholic Doctrine, by Rev Peter Geierman, pages 49,50 Ques. Which is the Sabbath day? Ans. Saturday is the Sabbath day Ques. Why do we observe Sunday instead of Saturday? Ans. We observe Sunday instead of Saturday because the Catholic Church, in the council of Laodicea (AD336) transferred the solemnity from Saturday to Sunday. Ques. Why did the Catholic Church substitute Sunday for Saturday? Ans. The church substituted Sunday for Saturday because Christ rose on Sunday and the Holy Ghost descended upon the Apostles on a Sunday Ques. By what authority did the church substitute Sunday for Saturday? Ans. The church substituted Sunday for Saturday by the plenitude of that divine power which Jesus Christ bestowed upon her. Mat 15:9 But in vain they worship Me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men." Faith of our Fathers, Cardinal Gibbons (for many years the highest authority of the Catholic church in America) pages 72,73 You may read the Bible from Genesis to Revelation, and you will not find a single line authorizing the sanctification of Sunday. The Scriptures enforce the religious observance of Saturday, a day which we never sanctify I can quote you sayings along the exact same lines from almost all major protestant religions as well, but do I really have to? (Rev 14:9) And a third angel followed them, saying with a great voice, If anyone worships the beast and its image, and receives a mark in his forehead or in his hand, (Rev 14:10) he also will drink of the wine of the anger of God, having been mixed undiluted in the cup of His wrath. And he will be tormented by fire and brimstone before the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb. God bless and I will be more than happy to discuss this further. Christian greetings!
