Today is all about us! Each person is going to compile a list of things that are important to him/her and turn it into a project to show off to classmates and family members. Many times when you meet a new person you are asked to share things that are important to you. Sometimes it is hard to think of topics on a moments notice. By completing this assignment you will have ideas and topics brainstormed in your head which will help make a conversation go more smoothly. Lets first talk about topics that are important to share with people and how to act when presenting information to friends, families or other professionals.

Step-By-Step Procedures: Closure: AFTER ALL SPEECHES HAVE BEEN MADE.

You all did a wonderful job today! By practicing talking in front of a small group of people you will begin to feel more comfortable. Dont worry if you were a little nervous today. That is perfectly okay! The point is to practice and get better. Over the course of the next few weeks we will continue to practice giving a speeches about ourselves. Before you leave, please fill out this Post-Speech Survey (attached). There are three questions to address on this worksheet. Please tell me something you learned today/enjoyed doing, something you did not enjoy/found difficult and any potential questions you have while leaving today.
