Faye Wattleton Dear Applicant, Congratulations for believing yourself that you can take up the post of Executive Board of AIESEC Expansion Initiative IPB. The first and most important trait you will need on this journey is to know yourself. You need to believe that your own abilities are enough to take this dynamic AIESEC Local Committee to new heights. AIESEC IPB has been through a lot of things in this past 2 years, from founding AIESEC until having 58 members like now. From 0 exchange until 5 exchanges this year. This is an achievement that sure we all should keep and improve. The most important thing is, establishment AIESEC in IPB is not only for AIESECers development, but also IPB development. Because AIESEC give opportunity for not just an ordinary organization but also a platform to develop your softskill that will be very usefull for young people. Although we havent done everything completely, we are here to create a legacy to make this goal happen. There are a lot of things you will need to do for our LC but there is also a lot more you could do for yourself. The role as EB is one of the most challenging, back breaking, and inspiring roles you will come across. It is in moments when newly recruited members talk to you about the relevance of AIESEC or your management board questions your strategies that you realize how much more you will always have to learn. And that is the constant beauty of this role. It is as dynamic as it is humbling. We hope you have a fantastic time filling in the application and hope whatever your choice and decision is, you will never regret it. We have had possibly one of the most impactful experiences of our life so far, welcome to the opportunity!

01. What makes you decide to apply as an LCEB? And what do you want to achieve for yourself being responsible as an LCEB? My reasons to apply as an LCEB because i want to engage with AIESEC experience, being an LCEB will help me to develop my leadership skill and i want to know how far i can chalenge myself to get my passion in life. I think when i ignore this opportunity i would regret it because this oppportunity doesnt come up 2 times, and i think im able to join this Opportunity righ now and why it should be postponed? Beside that i want to contribute more for society,environtment and others to create a better world and also to develop other AIESEC members skill. AIESEC already give me positive changes in my life so i want to repay it by contributing my effort, idea, and skill to make AIESEC be a better ,respectable, and impactfull organisation. Being an LCEB i want to achieve my leadership skill, my integrity, flexibility (flexibel adapt to new situation,places,and people) emphaty, communication skill, 02. have role in it? Graduated with good score and in the right time, being EB can help me to manage my time between organisation and studying, and i can always motivated my self to do the best thing i can do, not only in my organization but also for my study. Beside that being an EB can developt me with integrated experiences comprised of leadership,sosial awarness, global working experience and many more.

Continue my master degree abroad. As i said before being an EB can help me to


develop my personality, my flexibility, and connect me to university around the world . i will know more about others culture, and to improve my english skill

Being a succses enterpreneur. Its need to developt our leadership, our convidence to

communicate with other people being an LCEB i can learn how to communicate well, how to accept others opinion, being creative and inovative person and also can preparred me to face the real world by working environtmential and enhance my social conscious to help others

Describe life as an LCEB in your imagination!

Being an LCEB will works closely together with Local committe president, and responsible for the development of their local AIESEC committee as an organization and they coordinate the programmes that AIESEC offers. An EB also coordinating teams in order to achieve a vision that they had together . Be a good listener and motivation the member to making them believe in that vision and having them also work for what we all wanted, accepting my mistakes and coming back in order to fix them, transmitting my emotional attachement and my personal view of AIESEC to members that have different opinion with me.

Have you tell your parents and closest people about your plan to apply as an LCEB? What are their responds? Please explain!

I already told my parents that i want to apply as an LCEB and they are really support me to be a part of LCEB IPB expansion, they also give some advice and their opinion about what should i prepare to fill the booklet, the interview and they also pray best wishes for me. My closest friends also give me support to be an LCEB they show their support by encouraging me to take the booklet and give their point of views what they want AIESEC to become in the future and their expectation about AIESEC.
05. What are your 3 main strengths and weaknesses? How do you overcome your weaknesses? How can you implement your strength in your EB team? Strength 06. What was your greatest achievement in your LIFE? My greatest achievement in my life is i can go to study in IPB and after that i accepted to become an AIESEC member in 2011 How do you see yourself (as a personal, team mate, family member, and community member)?

What is leadership to you? Please describe your leadership style based on your opinion and opinion of others who have worked with you!
Leadership is about

Creating guidance : leader will showing the way by example, and creating an

environment in which other team members feel actively involved in the entire process. A leader is not the boss of the team but, instead, the person that is committed to carrying out the mission of the Venture.
Motivating : lighting up other members passion, alwaays give positive respect to others member and also motivate team members to be organized as well. Good listener : By keeping our mind open to other ideas, we can come up with new ways

to accomplish our goals. The leaders job to make sure that everyone in the group is being heard. Listen to their ideas and accept their constructive criticisms. Confident : we have to believe in ourself and the success of our Venture, no one else will. Show others that we are dedicated, intelligent, and proud of what we are doing.

Working experience (in college & outside college)

List your most impressive working experience, dates & responsibilities. What kind of learning from this experience that you can implement in AIESEC IPB?

2011 - OMI : Treasurer of the division match Responsibilities : collect the money from registration of partisipant, collect the money from others member to buy the shirt commite, collecting fines from every player who made a mistake, make the accounting for the entry and exit cost. From this experience i learn alot about how to make the good accounting and how to communicate well with others partisipant to collecting fines from player who made a mistake. 2011 Bogor Art festival : Public relation Responsibilities : make a call with the performers, make a call with some UKM to be part of the fairs and sent an invitation to them. From this experiance i can learn how to make some marketting call with others, how communicate well with them.
10. What kind of opportunities outside AIESEC that you want to take in a year ahead? Outside AIESEC i want to take some internship in some companies to feel the real experience being a worker, i want to joint some competition to built my convidence, my creativity etc and

also i want to have some business to start my step being a success entrepreneur.

SECTION 3: AIESEC EXPERIENCE


01. List all aspects of your AIESEC experience (including internships, leadership positions, organizing committee, task forces, national team, conference, etc). Please mention what have you learnt from those experiences! OC exchange in YELLOW Project Actually as OC exchange i learn about how to input data to AIESEC.net , looking hostfam for the EP, help the EP to taken care their visa to the immigration office, manage my time, in this project i also learn how to communicate well with other people from others country and respect all the differences between me, EP and other Oc, and i

learn to be more concerned about the environment, children and many more. OC logistic for Open Recruitment new member Here i know more about peoples character and how to be good abserver during the FGD and interview and setting aside my personal judgment to other people, i also learn how to introduce what AIESEC is to other people who dont know about AIESEC. OC event in Speak Up project (now) From this experience i learn many things about making interesting program for the project, i can manage my time between get involved to the event and studying, and i also learn how to communicate well to the the TN how to race them for being part of our project. ICX staff I learn how make a great project that can impactfull not only for myself, but also for others, environment, society etc. Being an ICX staff i learn how to do some marketing calls and race the stakeholder for being part of AIESEC. I also learn how to putting attention in sercive quality, and building interpersonal relation with others.
02. Rank 1 main area in AIESEC where you have had the most experience. Highlight briefly your experiences in each and how that would benefit a year in the EB team? AIESEC EXPERIENCE Exchange

The Exchange Team is divided into Outgoing (OGX) and Incoming (ICX) Exchange, and now im the member of ICX in which makes me have experiences dealing with raisingmatching- realization of EPs. I also knowing the full details of ICX prosess about how to do marketting calls, raising TN, make a great project that give a positive impact for society, I also have responsibility to deliver great experience for the EP.
03. What was your main achievement in AIESEC? What was your role in it?

My main achievement in AIESEC is being a part off ICX member, as a member of ICX i learn a lot, I developed a lot of skills and abilities, ranging from public speaking, to project management, team management and others. More importantly, to a certain extent, I can say that it gave me the space where I could find meaning how to respect others, creating partisipation,. I also raise

and develop traineeships of high quality, with companies and institutes in my region and make sure that the intern will have a great time in here, Together with other member of AIESEC i create and implement the strategic plans for AIESEC.
04. What were your greatest frustration and/or biggest failure in AIESEC? What did you learn the most from it? Honestly my greatest frustation in AIESEC is when we have a YELLOW project in last January, i becoming OC exchange but i dont know anything about matching proses with the EP, and how to put data to the aiesec.net and thankfully my EB (ka niar) can handle it as well as she can, that time i have to find hostfam, and taken care about EPs visa to the immigration office in Bogor. But unfortunately after one week the project held i get an information that my aunt have passed away and i have to go back to padang as soon as possible and i give my responsibility to other OC. From that situation i can learn much about being responsible, ...........

01. What is AIESEC to you? (Please avoid jargon/buzz words)

AIESEC is the largest student organization more than 110 countries worldwide that comprised youth from all over the world sharing the same passion to make a better world from any other side. AIESEC will provides internships abroad and as a member we will run an exchange project focused on a hot topic, engage in event planning or training in your areas of expertise. AIESEC also provide opportunities to developt our leadership skill, communication skill , flexibility and others.

01. Please explain about your vision and mission for AIESEC IPB 12/13 and how is it align with AIESEC 2015! Vision : To develop every functional areas to be more creatif, innovative and active in helping the

development of AIESEC IPB in the next few years so we can engage more people to feel AIESEC. Mision : Improve good sistem to maximizing the capasity of member Maximizing project (held more creatif, and impactfull project) Financial sustainability Built a good relation with other comunity in local area
From this vision and mission we can see that develop every functional areas to be more creatif and active can makes AIESEC IPB design the activities that can make positive impact in society and it will make AIESEC become first choise partner to develop responsible and enterpreneurial leadership. And Youth can feel the AIESEC experience. 02. What do you think should be the three main priorities for ICX functional in AIESEC IPB 12/13? What strategies would you propose for each one and what results would you like to see in each of those areas at the end of your term?

Please describe the connection between ICX and other department in LC (synergy) ! And elaborate more in how to make the synergy between them goes well. ICX can synergize with every funcional in AIESEC

1. ICX and ER : market research, raise company or TN for project, attend external events
that involves company, representatives to promote global exchange program

2. ICX and OGX :

working together to looking for exchange partisipant, develop sales strategy ( what AIESEC offers for being EP), they try to motivate AIESECers to go

abroad for an internship. For this, the team members give trainings about matching and myAIESEC.net, promote Exchange in Local Committee and also have personal talks with people, who are interested in going abroad.
3. ICX and finance : conduct budget and progress tracking with ICX to help maintain goal achievement and financial sustainability

4. ICX and Comm : Help to create AIESEC newsletter, to be given to potential and current
media partner to ensure that they have something to be broadcast to our target market, beside that comm will help ICX to make a brochure or announcement about the project that will ne held.

5. ICX and TM : TM help ICX to recruit and selection, allocation, motivation, coaching, training and preparing members for the future tasks and responsibilities.
05. What is your strategy to attract TN taker since AIESEC in IPB still dont have much experience? What will you do to ensure them to be our TN?
