Requirements for Wudu - wudu is not correct unless all of these conditions are met 1) The water reaches all the of parts of the body that are Fard 2) Nothing is found that would prevent the water from reaching the Fard parts, such as nail polish, super glue, or flour. 3) Nothing is found that would break wudu, like a nosebleed, or going to the bathroom Conditions that must be met in order for wudu to be mandatory upon someone - if someone doesnt meet these conditions then he or she does not need to do wudu. For Wudu to be Mandatory for someone to do they must. 1) 2) 3) 4) 5) 6) Be Balig one must have reached the age of puberty Be in the Right state of mind, can be intoxicated or insane Be a Muslim Have enough water to reach all the Fard parts of the body Be in a state of light impurity, they must need to do wudu NOT be in a state of Heavy impurity, they must not need Ghusal, if they need Ghusal, doing wudu is not going to help them, they must do Ghusal first. 7) The time for prayer Should have come in Branches pertaining to wudu It is obligatory to wash the visible part of a thick beard, a thick beard Is one that covers the skin If a person has a thin beard or a small beard, then the water should reach the skin If you have a beard, its not necessary for the water to reach the part of the beard that is outside the borders of the face

Fingers should not be held tightly together so that the water doesnt go in between them. Also finger nails should be not so long that water does not flow to the skin under them. It is necessary to move around a tight right during wudu, so the water can reach under it. If there are cuts or bruises on your limbs, it is ok to pass the water over the medicine and not wipe off the medicine itself One is not required to redo wudu after clipping nails or after cutting hair.
