How can design instill an appreciation for tea by creating a tranquil experience that appeals to the senses?

tea has many great benets. Its health benets are numerous. The immediate effects that is can have on a person are always positive.

The Japanese culture has made good use of tea for centuries.

The title for the project is serenity. the brand mark is always to be shown with a good deal of space around it. It is meant to visually communicate simplicity, calmness, and peace. the thin border around the typography gives shelter and form (protection, if you will) to the meaning of serenity. This little play on words dove tails really nicely because...

It should be clear that I am NOT simply replicating the japanese tea ceremony. Instead I want to create an experience that references the ceremony in a CONTEMPORARY way that appeals to contemporary American culture.

So this is the space where you experience peace. Here is the design of the oor plan. The viewer would go through ve experiences which are intended to instill calmness and tranquility. After going through these levels of DETOXIFICATION people end up in the nal place of the experience where a variety of teas are served. Each space is 12 by 12 square feet (*SHOW TAPE ON WALL DEMONSTRATING HOW BIG IT IS)
