PROPERTIES TOTALSEAL 34 Polyurethane Sealant is a sinlge part, polyurethane sealing compound which cures at a fast rate by reaction with atmospheric moisture. The cured sealant is rubbery and highly elastic and, in general, can be overpainted. Good Resistant to weather conditions Good Bonding on various substrates Stable and non-sagging mended on all surfaces to obtain the best adhesion. APPLICATION The borders of the joints must be clean, dry, free from oil, fat and other contaminants, the surface must be sufficiently solid. Loose parts (residual mortar, cement grout, etc.) have to be removed mechanically (use steel brush, grinding wheel, compressed air). Metalic surfaces have to be made completely free from fat or other contaminations by using TYPICAL PERFORMANCE CHARACTERISTICS TEMPERATURE RESISTANCE: -30C to +70C; Will withstand higher temperatures, up to 90C, for short periods. WATER RESISTANCE: Good. STAINING: Non-staining COMBUSTIBILITY: Will burn if ignited.

7016. PACKAGING TOTALSEAL 34 has a very good adhesion to most substrates. For the following cases a priming with 7016 is necessary; porous substrates (e.g. concrete, plaster and brickwork); stressed joints (e.g. expansion joints); substrates that may contain other contaminants (e.g. wood). 310ml cartridges or 600ml sausages (boxes or 12). STORAGE Store under dry conditions between 5C and 30C. Protect from heat sources. SHELF LIFE For conventional construction joints subject to movement it is important that the dimensional proportions of the joints are correct.
