The other solution is that Chris should not report this error to the Bank and he should resolve this issue by negotiating with the customer by enquiring customer in person and with Carol. And ask Carol to bear some amount of the loss from her pocket for saving her from being fired by the Bank. And rest of the amount should be given from customers account. And also warn Carol not to do this mistake again.
