1. Why did you decide to run for this office? I want to be a part of the community I live in, to ensure a great place to raise a family in. Through my involvement in the Neighborhood Association we are making positive changes. I would like to be a part of the council to help to make the decisions needed to help the city with its recovery and future sustainability. 2. How much will your primary campaign cost? $482.17 by me or any other party toward campaign costs for the web site and yard signs. 3. Key endorsements you have received: Currently no endorsements received 4. Have you ever been convicted of a crime, been disciplined by a professional licensing board/organization or had an ethics violation filed against you? If so, please give the details. Not Applicable 5. Have you ever filed for bankruptcy, been delinquent on your taxes or other major accounts, or been sued personally or professionally? If so, please give the details. Not applicable 6. Why should people vote for you? What separates you from your opponent(s)? Be specific. I strive to involve the community and build a productive team. I remain open to seeing multiple sides during discussions and willing to make decisions in the things I believe in. I chose to be involved and will work to represent the area in the decisions made in the city. Im running to make a difference; Im not running to obtain a position.

7. What are the three most important issues you would address if elected? How? (75 words
for each issue)

A. Representation of those within the Ward through the communication through the Neighborhood Associations, public communication. The major issue with politics across the board is the majorities of those who are represented dont communicate and work to resolve their concerns. B. Salem River Crossing to allow for the area to become a viable area for residential and business growth. Allowing reduced commuter traffic downtown to open the area for growth in business revenues. Support funding for establishment to positively impact a large portion of the population of Salem C. Downtown revitalization work with prospective business to understand the reasons for not considering downtown. Improving the area will increase revenue and continue to spread through out the city. Concentrated effort to reduce vacant properties to establish a thriving area. Work with area local business to understand the hurdles that need to be reduced to allow for positive growth and sustainability for their business. 8. What do you see as other important issues? The largest issue is the involvement of those who are being represented. There needs to be interest in the community and the decisions that affect their lives. 9. What magazines, newspapers and Web publications do you regularly read to keep up on the news and developments in your areas of interest? Internet feeds from Yahoo, Statesman Journal, AOL. 10.
