Applications are invited for admission to the regional Master Programme in Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM) to be hosted by six universities in the Southern Africa region.

Structure of the Programme


The programme comprises a compulsory core (consisting of 6 modules), followed by a specialisation (consisting of three modules) and 2 electives.

Entry requirements Participants are required to have at least a good first degree at Bachelor level (BA or BSc). The candidate should be able to show an orientation of his/her field of study to water related issues. Professional experience in relevant fields is an added advantage. The language of instruction is English. Candidates must therefore have a good command of the language. Start of Programme Programme starts in February 2010 at the two core host institutions. Financial Assistance WaterNet offers a limited number of scholarships on a competitive basis for SADC nationals plus to those of Uganda and Kenya. How to Apply Complete the application form (attached and also available on the WaterNet website) in full in English. Applicants should also provide all documents requested on the form in English.
