Pricing method Procurement The pricing method adopted for the procurement of potatoes from farmers has been determined at a nominally higher rate than the prevailing market price to incentivise the farmers to sell their produce to the cooperative. This method of pricing gives the cooperative an edge over other competitors willing to procure the produce from the farmers. Product The pricing method adopted to determine the selling price of our product is Going Rate pricing method. This method of pricing uses the prices of our competitors as a reference price ensuring the distributors a higher margin while offering a lower price than what our competitors do.

PERFORMANCE INDICATORS In order to periodically assess the performance of an organisation, certain indicators are used to measure the performance of the organisation. These indicators are referred to as performance indicators. These measures are used to help an organisation to define and evaluate how successful its endeavours are in terms of making progress towards its long term goals. FINANCIAL INDICATORS There are various financial indicators that will measure the growth of the producer company. One of them is rate of growth of income of the producers. The rate of growth of output/productivity and development of infrastructure also signifies that Producer Company is doing well and producers are increasing their output and also Producer Company is able to develop its infrastructure. Access to the members is also a good indicator for performance as Producer Company is of the farmers, for the farmers and by the farmers, where members are stakeholders to the end. A Producer Company would harness the knowledge and innovative technologies of growing and protecting crops using low-cost and eco-friendly approaches, minimizing the cost of production, obviate the need of harmful agro-chemicals and ensuring their members follow the good agricultural practices . It would also use innovative systems of marketing farmers produce. So, more number of farmers means better performance of a producer company.

A number of various social indicators also help us evaluate the performance of a cooperative. One of them is the education and training that is provided to the members as a part of the peripheral activities of the cooperative which not only helps the farmers but also helps in the development of the society as a whole. Another indicator for evaluating performance is equity and distributive justice; and patronage refund. Equity and distributive justice refers to distributing the patronage refund in proportion to the contribution made by each member. Members will get distributed profit according to the profit earned by the company. As a social institution, the performance of a cooperative can be measured by the members active participation which includes new employment opportunities provided to the members because of the training provided to the members.
