Khulna Polytechnic Institute is the largest Polytecnic Institute in the country and the highest seat of learning in the South region of Bangladesh. The Polytechnic has crossed 47 years of its foundation opening its door for the students with a solemn promise to spread quality of Technical education and research on 1963. Situated at the main campus of the Institute is very close to the mighty river Voyrab.

Khulna Polytechnic Institute Campus is situated at Khalishpur, 3 km north from the Khulna city and by the side of the Old Khulna-Jessore highway. The Polytechnic campus extends over an area of 33.5 acres. Tastefully laid out with beautiful plantation and with buildings of various nature and stature, clean and wide roads the campus presents a spectacle of harmony in architecture and natural beauty. The campus is fully residential providing comfortable social life.
