PROGRAMME

The result of Post Graduate Medical Admission Test (PGMAT)-2012 together with Counselling/ Interview Programme based on the
same for recommending Candidates for admission on merit-cum-choice basis against seats in the 1st year of various Post Graduate Medical
Degree/ Diploma Courses in Government / Private (recognised) Medical Colleges of Bihar, Govt. Dental College, Patna and Government
Ayurvedic College, Patna is being published below. The roll numbers of the candidates are according to Merit Serial row-wise.
1. The roll numbers of reserve category candidates who competed in General category have been included in General as well as their
respective reserve categories. Such candidates of General category will be allowed to exercise their option of Institution / Course against
seats available in their respective reserve categories and will not be adjusted against such reserve category seats.
2. The Counselling/ Interview of PGMAT-2012 will start from 16.04.2012 at 9.00 a.m. in Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination
Board, IAS Association Building, Near Patna Airport, Patna-14 as per the programme given below :

3. The Roll Numbers included in the counselling programme given in para-2 above are subject to the minimum criteria of performance as
per para 10.2(vii), alongwith all the other requirements, of the prospectus of PGMAT-2012.
4. 50% of the seats in Post Graduate Diploma courses will be reserved for Medical Officers in the Bihar Govt. Service, who have served
for atleast three years in remote and difficult areas of the state subject to the conditions and requirements as mentioned in para 5.4 of the
prospectus of PGMAT-2012.
5. Call letters are being sent by registered post to the candidates called for Counselling/ Interview. Even if any Candidate included in the
above list does not receive the call-letter in time, he / she must attend the Counselling/ Interview on the scheduled date and time on the basis
of this advertisement otherwise he/she will be considered absent and will lose his/her claim, for which the Board will not be responsible.
6. All the certificates included in the list given below, if applicable, must be submitted in original by every candidate at the time of his/ her
Counselling / Interview on the scheduled date :
i.
Original Admit Card of PGMAT-2012.
ii.
All the Certificates in Original as per the requirements of the Para 6.1 to 6.5 for PG Medical / 7.1 to 7.5 for PG (Dental) / 8.1 to
8.5 for PG(Ayurveda), 9A (i to vi) and 9B (if applicable) and 13.3 of the prospectus of PGMAT-2012.
iii.
All the certificates in original as per the requirements of para 5.4 of the Prospectus of PGMAT-2012 (if applicable).
iv.
Six copies of the passport size Photograph from the same negative (Black and White) which was pasted on the Admit
Card PGMAT-2012.
7. The candidates are required to bring all the certificates/documents as mentioned in para 6 above positively at the time of
counselling otherwise they will not be eligible for admission.
8. Inclusion of any roll number in the above Counselling/ Interview programme does not guarantee admission. Since candidates in excess
of the available seats are being called for Counselling / Interview in order to ensure filling up vacancies which may arise due to absentees,
those having merit positions lower than the total number of sanctioned seats will be admitted subject to availability of seats.
9. If a candidate called for Counselling / Interview is found ineligible as per the requirements of the prospectus of PGMAT-2012 and / or
the latest order/ orders passed by the Hon'ble High Court/ Supreme Court or Department of Health in matters related to PGMAT-2012, his
/ her candidature is liable to be rejected.
10. Each eligible candidate will be allowed to exercise his/ her option for Course/ Institution from amongst those available at his/ her merit
serial after his/ her original Certificates/ Documents and identity are verified.
11. A candidate who absents or fails to appear on the scheduled date & time of his/ her Counselling/Interview may appear for Counselling
any time during the period of Counselling of his/her respective Reservation category, but in that case he/ she will have the option of Course/
Institution available at the time of his/ her actual reporting.
12. Each candidate should note that once the Course/ Institution is opted at the time of his/ her Counselling and the same is allotted to him/
her, no subsequent request for change of course and/ or Institution shall be entertained.
13. Admission fee and other related charges shall have to be deposited at the time of admission in the concerned colleges.
14. In case of dispute, decision of the Controller of Examination, BCECEB shall be final.
15. The Govt. of Bihar and the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board reserve the right to amend the rules relating to
PGMAT-2012.
16. Any typographical error inspite of all precautions taken and detected any time shall be corrected whenever detected and merely publication of
Roll Numbers will not confer any right for admission.
