STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

Education is the manifestation of the perfection already in man. Swami Vivekananda.

I strongly believe in the statement that perfection is already there in man, inherent in his heart and soul. And education is the medium through which we are able to manifest that perfection in us. In this statement of my objectives, I have highlighted my reasons for pursuing a Masters degree. Bearing in mind my academic background, capabilities and interests, I have decided to pursue Postgraduate studies in Masters in. Finance what follows, I have briefly summed up my motivation for Postgraduate study, my background and my research interests. My Goals Postgraduate study provides one an opportunity to gain a deeper insight into ones field of interest and ones creative skills through research. Hence, I think that Postgraduate study is essential for me to build on my undergraduate education and to realize my ambition of being at the front line of research in my field and making an original contribution in it. I would like to expand my zone of working to construct a broad base in the field of finance, while keeping me updated on the latest trends and associated technologies in Computer Science. My ultimate goal is to be an active member in the fast growing world of IT as well as Administration field. My Education Background As I had a strong belief in practicality and passion for research work, I had a strong aspiration for pursuing a professional course. As regards of my academic background, I always had a strong aptitude for Management and business, secured 68.5% at my 10th.I have completed my 10+2 in a famous college, which is one of the most prestigious colleges in India. B. commerce, with its widespread scope and versatility was the obvious choice for me since it was a perfect match of my abilities and interests. The well-devised curriculum coupled with high qualified faculty and workshops, have inculcated me the fundamentals of my major, and have motivated me to take up several projects. My Primary interests Through out my undergraduate education I have made a conscious effort to achieve firm foundation in Management based on both balanced and intellectual and practical experiences. On the intellectual level, a rich blend of courses on Basic management concepts and case study.Base on the management, other subjects like finance and computers kindled my interest in the application oriented study. The field of management seems to be ideal choice among the different disciplines of sciences with significant contributions from each of them. I am deeply impressed by the applications of this field. .

Aim of the project The main aim of the project is to ascertain the effectiveness of agency system in HDFC standard life insurance, in order to increase the effectiveness of agents and find the drawbacks and suggest the company to take necessary measures. . Industrial visits I went to industrial training out my enthusiasm to learn more about the practical applications of Business management in areas like production and Quality control and Quality assurance of the product through this industrial training. Why Bedfordshire University I would like to join a Graduate school that encourages me to put in my best. I have heard that the research facilities and the faculty at Bedfordshire University are among the best in the world and my senior professors have also expressed a similar opinion. Your university is a confluence of people from every culture, nationality, religion, race and Ideology, I am sure that my exposure to these kinds of diverse influences would aid in the overall development of my personality and help me broaden my concept form the narrower confines of nationalism to internationalism. I am eagerly looking forward to become a part of the intellectual family residing at the university; and if I become one, I'll try to bring the best out of my Institute in terms of academic excellence. I have also visited the Bedfordshire University website and read about the research interests of various professors. I was impressed by the innovative projects being undertaken, at your University, and found that several of them closely match my interests. Having made the statement of my objectives, I firmly believe that Bedfordshire University would provide the ideal milieu for my intellectual development. With my Background and zeal for research, I am confident of meeting the high standards of the Postgraduate program. I hope that my application for admission will be considered favorably.
