State ment of Purpose

Genius is one percent inspiration and ninty-nine percent perspiration. This was the quotation given to me by my father at the age of 13.This has changed my attitude and passion towards learning new ideas and try to be innovative. Life is one endless school session. I always believed in the fact that we never finish with schooling as long as we breathe. I also firmly believe in the dictum of expanding oneself through continuous learning and discovery. Hence the very basic thought of pursuing studies further has enthralled me. Science has rarely been explained to the general public; instead scientific inventions have been glorified and sold as magic pills. Enquiring about pharmaceutical drugs for a survey, I found that almost every person had a list of medicine names for an illness, yet not many seemed to know how any of these medicines worked including me when i was small. This made me curious of knowing the facts related to drugs and human body which finally landed me in the field of pharmacy. My schooling was done in St.Anns English Medium School , one of the most prestigious and reputed schools in my city. In my schooldays my inherent interest on health sciences encouraged me to concentrate on respective related subjects like biology (life sciences) which was part of my curriculum. My schooling also helped me in developing many qualities like being confident and expressive as I have participated in many quiz and debate competitions and also in science fairs. My schooling provided me adequate overlook towards different people which improved the way I communicate with the peers around me. I had propensity for ''life sciences'' which drove me to opt, Biology, Physics, and Chemistry in my intermediate (higher secondary education). My higher secondary education (intermediate) was however done in Vignan Vidyalayam, Guntur. My intermediate curriculum prepared me for a career in my respective interest i.e. in the field of Pharmacy. I secured 90.4%% in my intermediate. The study of biology is an enormous fractal landscape - there is intricate detail at every scale. There is no one functional level from which you can see the whole picture, since the details within one layer depend on all the others - from biochemical interactions to evolutionary pressures. Dealing with the subject of pharmacy you will never reach the end no matter which rabbit hole you choose, since each problem diverges into several new ones the deeper you explore.

My interest in the field of Pharmacy slowly developed and became my attitude to achieve something in the field, and it was but natural for me to choose PHARMACY in my under graduation program in Chebrolu Hanumaiah Institute Of Pharmaceutical sciences, recognized as one of the best institutions in Guntur . My undergraduate education was extremely rigorous and exciting. The company of highly learned teaching staff and a group of competent fellow students was a great inspiration. My greatest strengths of perseverance propelled me through an array of challenges. My curriculum in pharmacy has exposed me to manifold array of diverse yet interrelated subjects like Pharmaceutics, Pharmacology, Medicinal chemistry, Pharmaceutical Analysis, Dosage form design, Novel Drug Delivery Systems and Clinical pharmacy & Therapeutics. It was during the study of these subjects that I realized in the enormous potential of my field of interest in these research possessed subjects. I am keen in learning new research, developments and technology related to the above areas, which would hone my abilities and help me gain better understanding of the subjects. However it is my firm belief that performing well in academics is not enough for a career in teaching and research -one's ability to communicate ideas is as important as ones ability to generate them. It is in this pursuit that I have always been an active participant in applying knowledge and views through presenting papers in various seminars. I delivered in various seminars and received awards on Microarrays , Synthesis and Evaluation of Substituted /Condensed Isoxazole derivatives. Excellence in any sphere of life can be achieved through determination, hard work perseverance and dedication. Yet, lack of in-depth knowledge of the subject leaves the conceptual skills incomplete. The nature of under graduation courses does not offer scope for individual expression and rapidly advancing research, development and technology necessitates mastery of particular area. Graduate study is the common research interest of faculty, students and industry intersect. I believe this commitment in graduate study will give me the flexibility to apply my creative talent, individual thinking and original mind to widen knowledge and further research in my field. It is in this contest I would like to pursue a course that not only supplements the knowledge that I possess but also provides a strong foundation to my research oriented study. I have realized that undertaking masters at your esteemed organization under the guidance of eminent faculty will cherish the dream of mine. I believe that I possess the motivation, intellectual ability to achieve the assigned tasks with ease. In conclusion, I hope that I will be given a chance to realize my objectives by granting admission in your esteemed and distinguished university. I would be glad if given a research or teaching assistance ship because in addition to easing the financial burden on me. I am certain that my determination to succeed, sincerity and dedication will enable me to make a meaningful contribution to the on going research developments

and live up to high standards expected off your university. Given an opportunity, I shall strive to channel my unbridled efforts into more productive avenues.
