Herbicide Tolerance: Ratings are based on observations and research using herbicides at labeled and above-labeled rates to simulate extreme environmental conditions, misapplication and adverse soil pH or organic content. A = Acceptable Either no adverse effects from the corn product/herbicide combination were noted on any traits or only slight damage could be noted under adverse conditions or herbicide application at higher than label rates. Dow AgroScience Patent Rights for Genuity SmartStax: 5,510,474; 6,083,499; 6,127,180; 6,218,188; 6,340,593; 6,548,291; 6,624,145; 6,893,872; 6,900,371 and 6,943,282. The purchase/bailment/transfer of these seeds conveys no license under said patents to use these seeds or perform any of the methods covered by these patents. A license must first be obtained before these seeds can be used in any way. See your seed dealer to sign a Monsanto Technology/Stewardship Agreement (MTSA). Progeny of these seeds cannot be cleaned or used as planting seed or transferred to others for planting. These seeds may only be offered for sale and distribution by authorized seed companies or their dealers. Based on the decision of the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) on January 27, 2011, Genuity Roundup Ready Alfalfa seed is available for sale and distribution by authorized Seed Companies or their dealers for use in the United States only. This seed may not be planted outside of the United States, or for the production of seed, or sprouts. Monsanto Company is a member of Excellence Through Stewardship (ETS). Monsanto products are commercialized in accordance with ETS Product Launch Stewardship Guidance, and in compliance with Monsantos Policy for Commercialization of BiotechnologyDerived Plant Products in Commodity Crops. Any crop or material produced from this product can only be exported to, or used, processed or sold in countries where all necessary regulatory approvals have been granted. Do not export Genuity Roundup Ready Alfalfa seed or crop, including hay or hay products, to China pending import approval. It is a violation of national and international law to move material containing biotech traits across boundaries into nations where import is not permitted. Growers should talk to their grain handler or product purchaser to confirm their buying position for this product.
