ARE YOU READY?

There is an appointment that every man must keep. It is appointed Although man did not arrange this appointment, yet it is near impossible to escape it. No matter how liberal your views on life are and notwithstanding the shade of opinions you hold onto they will all come to terminal consequences with this appointment. This appointment is with DEATH. It is appointed once to die How happy it would have been if that were the end but no, it is only just the beginning it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment Hebrews 9:27. It may sound odd to ask but are you ready to die because death is inevitable. Perhaps, like the Roman gladiators in the Arena of Death before Caesar, you are even ready to die, but are you ready to face judgment? Maybe your primary concern presently is to make all the profit you can by whatever means necessary and available to you but after this what? For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? Matt. 16:26. Maybe your present desire is to enjoy maximally, adorning yourself with all manners of clothing and colours but after this what? she (he) that liveth in pleasure is dead while she (he) liveth. I Tim. 5:6. Could it be possible that whilst you think you are living and having a swell time, but before God, your Maker, you are actually dead? I know your deeds; you have a reputation of being alive but you are dead! Rev. 3:1b (NIV). What will happen if the Lord should suddenly come and find you in your stupor and wallow of sin? Is there any a way of escape?

Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and He will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for He will abundantly pardon. Isa. 55:7. You dont have to die. Cast away from you all transgressions, whereby ye have transgressed; and make you a new heart and a new spirit: for why will ye die ? Eze. 18:31. It is not the wish of God that any sinner should die. I have no pleasure in the death of him that dieth, saith the Lord God: wherefore turn yourselves, and live ye. Eze. 18:32. Turn yourselves you have a part to play. Turn to God for life, He has provided a way of escape for you in Christ Jesus. For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son. Jn. 3:16. And the Son says, I am the way, the

truth, and the life. Jn. 14:6. You dont have to die. Come to Jesus for life. Do you want to escape the coming judgement? Come to Jesus. Verily, Verily, I say unto you, he that heareth my word, and believed on Him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. Jn. 5:24. Do you want to live, Come to Jesus today, give your life to Christ.
