Aim of the call

This venture of IPSF aims at identifying and encouraging potential successful pharmacists at an early stage of their careers to be provocative, idealistic and passionate about their thoughts towards pharmacy profession.

Call description
IPSF-AfRO is inviting all you enthusiastic students and recent graduates to share your knowledge, opinions and views on the following topic:

Advances in drug development and quality control

Pharmaco-economy Bioengineering and nanotechnology Bio-informatics and information technologies Pharmaceutical Quality Control and Quality Assurance

Prize :
1. a. The prize is finalized as being free registration and accommodation to the first IPSF African Pharmaceutical Symposium (AfPS). b. The reception committee of AfPS has offered a free accommodation during the period 21-31 July 2012 if the participant is also attending the 58th IPSF world congress hosted in Hurghada, Egypt 1-11 August 2012. 2. Winners of the first, second and third places of the compeition will receive award and all participants will receive certificate of recognition during the closing ceremony. The deadline for submission is May 20th, 2012 00:00 (GMT+0). Selected candidates will be informed by May 30th, 2012

General Submission Guidelines Content

The posters can present primary research, secondary research or even reviews. However, they have to be composed of the required contents, background, objectives, methods, result and discussion. Format Abstracts should be formatted in accordance with the following guidelines: Abstracts must be written in English Saved as a Word document Not to exceed 250 words Times New Roman, font size 12, with one-inch (2.54 cm) page margins , in single paragraph Provide names of authors: last name followed by first and then list of degrees. The first author listed will be considered the presenter unless otherwise noted. (At least one of the abstract authors must be present at the conference). Provide affiliations of all authors Provide complete contact information of the first author (presenting author) , including name, mailing address, phone number and email address

Poster submission instructions

Abstracts must be submitted as a Word file to scientific@afps2012.org , with abstract as email subject.
