(Verse 1) So comes the day, where love turns to song She turned to sleep and the beast he was born, And every sunrise the criers would call, And so did the king as he slipped off his wool.

Days turned to months, and months turned to time, Still she lay in sleep as the grapes turned to wine, A fool he made, let us break no bones, But more fool the one that will leave her alone (Chorus) And as she fell, well did he ran, round the stairs, down the well, just to catch her again, get her back, get her back shes the one, shes the one, love is oath, love is pulse This time I wont let you go (Female vocal) my, heart, aches, these days he does not care for me fall, ing all, the time, with you, wasting, my life, with you why do you save me, if you dont want me and why do you give me hope, when its clear to see, all love has gone (End of act 2 with her running up the stairs againwhen shes jumps, acloseup of his eyes popping open in bedthen fades to black)

ACT 4 (the king is drunk in his chamber, it starts by him locking the door shut, the song stays in this room the whole songhe begins his soul searching and looking into his mirrorhe breaks his ) Maybe i drink too much, Maybe I think too much, Been staring out the window Wishing on a wind blow, Dreaming of a lovers touch Maybe I scream too much, I dont mean to be mean my love, But I get the heebyjeeb, And then my other me, Come burning through the trees (guitar scratch sound- radioadhead)

The lights light up in every town, Across a bed of angry frowns, and downs, and clowns in pink dressing gowns), And as the door it turns to stone she drifts in and out alone, For love is hope (breakdown) she went to be bed with her friend

she went to be bed with her friend she went to be bed with her friend she went to be bed with her friend And as the snow covers the world Her whole hope turns to dark again, oh dark again A thousands lies hit the sky, and set the moon on fire, on fire Yeah I used to say Id never say never again And I miss her, And I miss her, And I miss her but never want to see her again.

ACT 6 Ive been with red lions red lions, They dont scare me, dont scare me I dreamt of gold and lust and all things touch And then I met my only love And now I dont feel too much Well here we go, theres my heart Oh- dreams well they will float away, If you dont catch them in my friend, Miss a night to save a day, While the king be dark and drenched in blood and bust as she (breath) grows up And has our only child A pay he has to pay to, love (female classical solo) (string ensemble) Verse 2 As he counts them on his hand He realises what she meant Such a proud and bound begin If only we could start again Once upon a king, but even banquets to end All the oaths that he wrote Well he broke and hid the pens And the word began to spread Across the whole of all the land, That the king was but a fool,

not built for any crown even servants and his slaves woulnt tend to him again and the castle grew to grave as the gods did rightly rage Red lions, red lions, they dont scare me, dont scare me Red lions, red lions they dont scare And so they came for him in turn, Every single one of them, And burned his box under his bed, He pinched his skin to see, Surely this is not for me Gang of angry boyfriends came running through the hall Never been scared of a man, and I wont start with you I dont want your blood my foe, I want your careless soul theres much worse things than death, young drunken fool You unlawful, unloving discraceful king And for 40 days and 40 days nights to change your sorry life Say goodbye (the army starts marching to dethrone the king)

Oh the words they blade the soul Rang through the realm like Banish you unoble king, banish you until you know (clicking sound begins again with king vocal over) Maybe I can make it right, Maybe I can make it right If I make her my wife..

ACT 7 (the final scene at a beautiful church (Verse 1)

On the day they were due to be wed by the priest,

He looked up and then down as he began to speak, Dear friends and loved were gathered here today, To tell these two fools to go on their way When a plague from your lips will pass with such ease, Not a vow in the world that can save you from beast Not a dream, not a hope, not a ring, not a god, Oh its hard to move on when you are still in love (female high vocal) if you love me let me go if you love me let me go if you love me let me go if you love me let me go (verse 2) and with that they did part and they had their last kiss, and they ran from the church with a smile on their lips the most beautiful rose, it can turn to a gun, paradise it got lost, in a whirlwind of song ....
