My name is Muhammad Ammar Bin Abdullah. I am currently living in Sungai Buloh and am the first child of five siblings.

I got my early education at SK Bandar Baru Sungai Buloh and excel in the UPSR examination by scoring 5As. Then I continued my studies in lower secondary school at SMK Bandar Baru Sungai Buloh and became a prefect since I was in Form 1. I was an active student in school, for example, I used to represent the school in ping-pong game and I was also a chess player and represented the school. While in Form 3, I got 7A and 1B in the PMR examination. Then, when I was in Form 4, I got an offer to continue my studies at SM Sains Alam Shah in Cheras. It is one of the best boarding schools in Malaysia and I accept the offer. Even though it takes time for me to adapt myself in this boarding school, but at the end of the day, it surely made me a more independent person. In this school, I was active doing the extra-curricular activities as well as concentrate in my studies. I represent the school hockey team in several competitions such as Hari Kecemerlangan SBP (HKSBP) Peringkat Zon Tengah Hockey Tournament, Kuala Lumpur Open Hockey Championship and Zon Pudu Hockey Championship. In addition, I also have joined the Internationalisation Programme to Jakarta and had a class attachment with one of the best schools in Jakarta. I have a high level of leadership skills which I have obtained during my school years. At school, I am the President of Bowling Club, Dorm Leader, the committee member of Mathematics Club and the committee member of Red Cross Society. These eventually polish and help me develop my leadership skills. It is every nations mission to give birth to leaders that will one day lead the nation or ultimately the world in the right path. I am a person that always tries to keep improving from time to time. As example, back in the high school, when I was a form 4 student, I had four examinations which is two intervention exams, mid-year exam and year end exam. From the first exam, I manage to improve my result from one exam to another exam. Then when I was in form 5, the same thing happens. Even though I did not score well in the first test that year, but I tried to improve myself and get ready for the next exam. I will find my weaknesses and try to make it right. Finally, my efforts are not wasted and I managed to get straight As in the SPM examination.

For my future study plan, I want to take on the dentistry course. Why dentist? Why not medic? People always ask me that. For me, I found that dentistry is an interesting course. Furthermore, nowadays most students want to take medic course, which is why I want to be different from them. I want to be something that is special and different from most people want to be. In addition, our country is lack of dentist, therefore working as a dentist also a high demand nowadays. Under the MARA convertible loans, I would be studying at Kolej MARA Seremban for two years doing the International Baccalaureate. Then I will proceed my studies in India, doing Degree for about two years and then spent another three years to continue my Degree in Malaysia at Manipal Medical College, Melaka. After graduated and got the Bachelor of Dental Surgery, I will work with the government for about three to five years. By this opportunity, I will find as much experiences as I can get and will continue to serve the government as long as my service is needed. Then when my financial is stable and in a good condition, I want to open my own clinic and serve people. That is all about me, my education and career planning. So I hope MARA could give me the chance to pursue my study in dentistry and become a great dentist that can serve and help the country and its people. I am confident that when I secured this MARA Loan Programme, I will do the best in my studies and will try to get excellent in the exams.
