1.THE POSITION Position Title Location Job Headline Lead Structural Engineer Mumbai India He shall discharge the responsibilities of Structural Lead Engineer in the project team all through the conceptual, FEED , detail Engineering, procurement, construction, installation and commissioning phase of the project. Provide structural Engineering inputs to the project. Reporting to the Engineering manager/ Engineering co-ordinator/Technically responsible person ( TRP) for the project. . Managing offshore surveys for pre-engineering, pre construction and as laid / post installation phases of the project through external agencies including development of the Scope of work, technical evaluation and execution Developing Structural Scope of work for FEED & Detail Engineering and participate in Engineering bid evaluation Development of project scope of work and related Cost-time -Resource sheets (CTRs) Support in developing an optimized structural configuration Reviews of FEED and Detail Engineering work performed by external agency that shall include In-service and preliminary pre service conditions of Offshore platform analyses & design for Top sides, jackets, piles, structural Facilities systems for offshore oil & gas project and finalization of work packages including material selection and project specifications etc. Manage interfaces and to work closely alongside other disciplines , operations teams throughout FEED, detailed design, procurement, construction and commissioning. Providing structural inputs in developing the Scope of work during the execution phase of the Project including participation in the technical bids evaluation , addressing technical and field queries. Oversee and influence contractors and suppliers through design, procurement, construction and commissioning phases of the project Strong communicator, able to state key process goals and objectives, and present them clearly to the project team and to stakeholders Demonstrable commitment to HSSE, HSSE leadership and improvements to HSSE practice Demonstrate leadership in the application of the principles of Safety in Design by participating in HAZID, QRA, HAZON etc. Every individual has a duty to both themselves and those around them to ensure that safe practice is adhered to at all times 2. PERSON SPECIFICATION Experience Needed Basic & working knowledge on geotechnical engineering and Foundation of offshore systems for project Working knowledge and review of different analyses using SACS or SESAM etc. for In-place, Fatigue Deterministic & Spectral, Seismic as part of Inservice conditions and Load out, Transportation, lifting, Installation including On-bottom stability and Pile drivability, Appurtenances design etc. as part of T&I engineering for Topsides, Jackets and Piles.

Experience in application of civil /structural /architectural engineering management practices and in value improvement tools and practices Field Experience on Offshore Fabrication and yard exposure, offshore Installation and underwater operations & related engineering work, Asset Integrity studies, Project costing, Modifications of systems, Project Management and Engineering Co-ordination Knowledge on Health, Safety, Security & Environment from Project Perspective. Project Experience on HAZID, HAZCON, Job Safety Analysis, Mitigation Measures etc Good interpersonal skills and self-motivated

Knowledge, Languages, Skills and Attributes

Proficiency in SACS, GRL WEAP, Computation of Axial Pile capacities, USFOS etc Working Knowledge of International Codes & Standards viz. Structural & Structural Material Codes & Standards, API RP 2A;WSD, AISC, ASTM, British Standards, CAP 437, IMCA, SOLAS He should be mobile and ready to travel and spend extended time in the Design Contractors work centre.
