In the last few years, there have been increasing numbers of investments made by Korean companies in Indonesia. In doing business in Indonesia, Korean companies face a number of challenges in many aspects of their business. These include the mechanics of how to set up a business, compliance with regulations and reporting requirements, and the unique business and market environment in Indonesia. We understand that Korean companies need a reliable and qualified firm to assist them in dealing with those challenges and ultimately in achieving their goals. We believe that PwC Indonesia has the skills and expertise required to assist Korean companies to do just that. Driven by our commitment to provide distinctive services to our Korean clients, in 2006 we established a dedicated team, PwC Indonesia Korean Business Desk, and became the first accounting firm to have a dedicated team for Korean business. PwC Indonesia Korean Business Desk consists of people who are committed to deliver high quality services in the areas of Assurance, Tax and Advisory. Included in the team is a full time dedicated Korean Technical Advisor who will provide strong communication support to our Korean clients. We work closely with Korean professional associations, including KOTRA, Korean Embassy, KAFA (Injaemo), KTA (trading industry), KERA (energy industry) and KFA (financial institutes).
