BARTEC develops and manufactures innovative electrical trace heating systems for frost protection, temperature maintenance and heating. These systems are applied for the heating of tanks, silos, pipes and pipe systems to keep liquids and gases at a specific temperature. The core element of an electrical trace heating system is the heating cable. The heat supplied by the heating cable keeps pipes or surfaces at a constant temperature and partially compensates for different ambient temperatures. Innovative connection technology and accurate control equipment complement our product range in heating technology. For many years, high-precision measurement technology from BARTEC has stood the test in areas where safety plays an important role: measuring emissions in power plants, preventing fires in underground or railway tunnels or monitoring earthquakes. BARTEC also supplies efficient systems for monitoring limit values of earthquakes. Humidity measurement in aggressive and explosive liquids and gases is one of our areas of expertise. For example in natural gas: traces of humidity in natural gas reduce the quality and may cause corrosion and ice-formation in the pipeline. Analyzers and analyzer systems Analyzers from BARTEC BENKE are installed in all major refineries worldwide. This equipment monitors and controls the manufacturing of fuels. BARTEC BENKE also supplies analyzer systems in turnkey analyzer houses. Kerosene is a typical field of application for our analyzer systems. In heights exceeding 10,000 meters, the fuel required in airplanes must be capable of flowing even at temperatures of minus 60 C. Extremely accurate control during the manufacturing process is the basis for safe fuel for the protection of people and the environment.
