In todays society computers play a major role in classroom education. Some argue that it can replace teachers while others say teachers play a major role in classroom. No doubt computer are here to play some role in classroom, and before we can come to a conclusion we should analyse the facts. Computers help students in various ways in the classroom. Firstly , students can learn about any subjects like maths, science and general knowledge. There are good number of learning tools to suite individual needs and level which help them to learn at their own pace. Secondly ,computers helps the individual to repeat lessons where they have not understood a particular topic. Multimedia learning programs are now quite intelligent to understand and quite interactive. Finally computer helps

students to communicate with other schools, universities from all over the world. Moreover it allows them to research by visiting websites on the internet, where a large number of research papers are published and also helps them to publish their own. Can a father be an ideal teacher?

Rightly does Ray fellow say "Lives of all great men remind us, We can make our lives sublime.

And departing leaves behind us, Footprints on the sands of time."

Ideal teacher is one who not only teaches lessons to children but also teaches about life and helps in, making them good citizens of country. I fully agree with the view that father can be a ideal teacher because child comes in contact with father first and remain in touch for longer duration of time than teacher. Also, as the education of a child progresses, he comes in contact with different teachers with the likelihood that all of them having different personalities and opinions. So, it is more likely that child more from his father. As he grows older, he observes his father's activities with more and more curiosity and also tries to listen to him. Younger children always attempt to imitate other family members, which is a known scientific fact. So father always tries to live the life like an ideal person. He does not tell a lie and behaves normally in the family. He keeps peace in the family by persuasion rather than forcing the issues on them. He is always to put his helping hand for the solution of family members' problems. He maintains harmony with his neighbors and every social function. He looks after the needs of family very well. He tries very hard to maintain a discipline in the family. Sometimes children can ask very irritating questions, but ideal father never shows his anger and frustration. Furthermore, he sets the example by being regular and punctual in his duties. But on the other hand, if father is alcoholic or smoker, he is likely to pass over these habits to his children, whereas teacher never smoke or drinks in class. In addition he has experience in teaching, which father does not have. In conclusion, if father himself is ideal person, living his life simply without any bad habit, he can be the ideal teacher as well. ravinder singh Hi, Marcus, here is my homework: Computers play an important role in the education process nowadays. There are a lot of multimedia programs to learn various subjects and disciplines. Also, with a computer students can study at their own pace. Internet is now an important part of education too, since there are a plenty of web sites providing study materials on different subjects. Nevertheless, computers can't help us in some areas where teachers can. In fact, teachers can see the individual peculiarities of a student. They can correct his educational process according to student's talent and character. A teacher can choose the most appropriate method of teaching that fits the student best. Also, only a human can

encourage a student and support him or her. Finally, there are areas, where only teachers can guide a student, like sports, medical treatment and others. To my mind, both computers and teachers are important in the classroom. From one hand, computers give students possibilities to study more effectively than without them. From the other hand, computers can not totally replace teachers since they have no intelligence. So, for the optimal teaching process computers and teachers should be used together.
