On Friday, the senior students brainstormed all the qualities they would like in their new principal and created a video that reflects these qualities. So far we have had over 280 hits on the video itself, and over 500 visits to our website since it went live on Friday. Talk about positive exposure! Now speaking of positive exposure, Pukeokahu School is pleased to announce that it will be holding its Movie Premiere at the Majestic Movie Theatre in Taihape on Wednesday 27th June. You are all welcome to come and watch this years claymation movies. I am also pleased to announce that the Junior School is also making their first claymation animation, so exciting! Make sure you are there to enjoy the show! Finally, on Monday we are going to have a See You Again Soon party for Jacob and Grace who are heading off to America for three months. For the party the kids will be making pizzas, for lunch, we will supply the bases, sauce and cheese so could you please put two or three toppings into their lunch box, which they can add to their own pizzas.

Richie McCaw and Pukeokahu School Books I have printed our school book about Richies visit. It is an excellent quality, hard cover book with high quality photos filled with the students stories and poetry. We have a copy up here, at the school for you to take a look at, and I will be taking orders if you would like a copy. First Aid Course Wednesday 30th May @ 6pm 10.30pm This is next week, so if you havent already please send me confirmation that you are attending so I can email Sandra on Monday. The cost is $100 and will be held up here at the school.

Queens Birthday Weekend - Next Weekend Please remember that school will be closed on Friday and Monday for the long weekend. Pow-Wow - Monday 28 May 7ish at School Those who are keen to start their Aprons will need approx. 1m. of fabric (we have a small amount available) sewing machines and embroidery sewing needs.
