For the latest laptop, which is not equipped with serial port, we have to create the serial port by USB-Serial conversion cable. In this condition, the COM port will not be COM1, but COM5 or COM6 etc.

3. Create a new device Enter the SIM card number inside the devices modem in Device Phone column and then Set the site ID. 4. Set Remote Communication Setup Enter the SIM card number of the modem that will be connected with the laptop in Control Center Phone No.1~ 5 (You can set Phone2~5 or not). Choose Short Message as Remote Communication Mode, and then Set. User can choose suitable service that the operator has provided.
5. Click Get and then Search to confirm whether Remote Communication Parameters has been set successfully. 6. Connect the BTS port with donor antenna cable, before remote communication; it will take 1 minute for the initialization of the modem inside the device. 7. If Short Message is set during Remote Communication Setup setting, click Start. After 10 seconds, choose the site ID and then click Get. The devices parameters will be read and displayed on the screen.
