INTRODUCTION

Actually, technology is increasing every day because it is used as an important resource in different fields; and one of them is in educational field. As teachers, we need to know how to apply it in our classrooms or different areas where we work and one of the main topics that we have to understand correctly is databases. Nowadays, databases are used with its different features and functions that they have in order to use technology in an appropriate way. Finally, we will study databases structures with it own problem solving for each one, and we research about learning with databases.

DATABASES
A database is a group of files interrelated between them to store information of one organization. They can be used in any kind of organizations as in educational field; because anywhere exist information that can be recorded or processed. And, one of the reasons to use it, is because in every place exist the necessity to organize different information using technology as a resource. Today, technology allows us to interact with the information and analyze it in an efficient way using tools as databases software.

THE MAIN STRUCTURE OF DATABASES:

Field: It is an element in a record. Data: Information for each field.

TYPES OF DATABASES:
There are three main types of databases as; a) Text-based databases: They consist in information based in text. Hypermedia databases: They consist in elements based in hypertext stored in databases; they use links to access them. Multimedia Databases: They consist in elements as text, graphics, video clips and sound, they are a collection of multimedia elements that can be connected using databases.

SOURCES FOR DATABASES:

There are different sources as, a) Student: They can be created with information which is produced by students.

Teacher: They can be created with information provided by teachers. Commercial: They are created by companies who can sell their product in several areas. On-line: They refer to databases located in many servers through Internet; usually they give different types of services.

Example:
It is a definition of a structure of record used in a table to store information of students.

CONCLUSIONS

Using databases is important to manage information and increase efficiency in different activities. Advanced technology allows us to improve techniques of managing information. In order to create databases is very important specific knowledge for design each structure of them.
