ErasMus MunDus
Erasmus Mundus is a Masters programme devoted to improving the quality of European higher education and strengthening intercultural communication. The programme encourages and supports:
cooperation and peoples exchange among European and non-European universities the promotion of the image of the European Union as a space of academic excellence worldwide the sustainable development of higher education in third-party countries better careers for its students.
WHat is CLE ErasMus MunDus? The Erasmus Mundus CLE Master in European Literary Cultures is a high-level programme designed for European and non-European students and aimed at providing them with excellent skills in:
at least three European languages
(English mandatory, two other languages among French, Italian and Greek)

aiMs The Erasmus Mundus CLE Masters programme teaches his students how to manage the manifold aspects of the European scene, offering them a multicultural education along three main methodological lines:
Cultural education in at least three domains of European thought, ranging from literature, to history and language sciences. Linguistic education of high-level in at least three European languages, complementing in-class learning with on-site practice in at least two countries of the consortium. Dynamic education thanks to its programme of international exchange. The CLE Masters programme wants to train dynamic and critical experts in the humanities, with a good awareness of country-specific problems and the ability to make competent decisions, relying on their rich cultural baggage.

CarEErs The main perspective careers for CLE Masters graduates are:
Teaching career in higher education. Doctoral research in any PhD programme with a focus on European literatures or cultures. The best CLE graduates will be encouraged to pursue their education within the Doctorat dtudes Suprieures Europennes (D.E.S.E), Les Littratures de lEurope unie http://www.lingue.unibo.it/dese A career in the European cultural institutions or in any local institutions involving a cultural programme (conception and organisation of international exhibits; managing of cultural exchange programmes; development of cultural contents in various types of associations). A career in the private sector, requiring book-related skills (translations, philological editions), journalism, literary criticism, radio or tv broadcasting, copyediting, public relations.
The CLE Master is a two-year full-time academic programme. Erasmus Mundus students (both European and non-European) can apply for a scholarship to support their education in at least two countries of the consortium. At the end of the two-year programme, after defending their Masters thesis before an international committee, CLE students receive two or three diplomas issued by all the universities of the consortium where they spent at least one semester. The language in which the courses are offered may vary according to the University providing them.
CLE students are required to study in two or three universities of the consortium. This will allow them to: - achieve an international education - develop a research project - obtain two or three diplomas
