May2008 July2011 Aviva Investors London, UK Senior C# Developer o Designed and implemented a reporting application for senior management to consolidate transactions of all Aviva Investors funds. The GUI was written in WPF and connected to a SQL server database. The application loaded Excel files received from the regional offices and had the capability to output data in Access to allow users to run custom queries. o Designed and implemented global catalogue of Aviva Investors funds. This created a centralised repository, which did not exist before, and allowed users to update and retrieve information based on their access level. This was a 3-tier application where the front-end was deployed to the users desktop over the internet, the service layer ran in the DMZ and the database was in the internal network. The application components were communicating over SSL and the messages were encrypted. o Managed off-shore India developers who developed an application to apply risk and compliance checks to property funds. The application consisted of a C# front-end and connected to a SQL server database. o Designed and implemented the following solutions that consisted of a front-end in C# and a back-end in SQL Server: o Application for analysts to provide recommendations on financial instruments, update their recommendations and review performance of expired ones. Senior management uses this tool to track the performance of analysts. o Application for fund managers, compliance and finance teams to track the properties of funds and financial information regarding the tenants.

Feb2004 May2008 Morgan Stanley London, UK IT Associate in Investment Banking o Designed and developed 3 real-time strategic simulations Capital in Peril?, Enterprise in Peril? and Buyout in Peril? that were used as client engagement tools. The simulations consisted of 3 C# GUIs that communicated over WiFi, a SQL server backend and an Excel calculation engine. We successfully deployed the simulations in CEO conferences of Morgan Stanley and key client events. CiP? won Financial News Most Innovative IT Initiative award. o Managed off-shore team who developed an Excel plug-in in C# to enable the Global Capital Markets group to access the online pipeline system. The plug-in communicated with Java services using XML messages. o Worked on enhancements of the online CRM system using JavaScript, Java and SQL. o Built and ran the European IT mentoring network.
