1.When a car is detected at the Entry sensor, the barrier should open and allow the car to enter. 2.When a car is detected at the Exit sensor, the barrier should open and allow the car to exit. 3.When the car park is full, the Full light should be 'ON'. 4.When the car park is empty, the Empty light should be 'ON'. 5.When there are spaces in the car park for cars, the Spaces light should be 'ON'. 6.The number of Spaces is to be displayed at all times via the Accumulator of Counter 1.
NB. The barriers should be in the 'UP' position long enough for the cars to enter or exit the car park.

RED 5 seconds later RED & AMBER 5 seconds later GREEN 5 seconds delay
The sequence should be fully automatic and start with the RED 'ON' immediately.

System healthy - no indication. System in alarm - a flashing Amber light and audible alarm.
1.If the operator presses the ACCEPT button when the plant is in alarm, the audible alarm stops and the flashing Amber light changes to permanently 'ON'. 2.If the plant drops out of alarm condition before the ACCEPT button is pressed, the panel will show a flashing Green light. The audible alarm and Amber light will go 'OFF'. 3.If the ACCEPT button was pressed when the plant is healthy, the Green light will go 'OFF'.
4.There should be a LAMP TEST button which, when pressed, will light all lamps and sound the audible alarm.

Conveyor 1 runs continuously and is fed one bottle at a time. Each bottle travels along the conveyor and is guided into position where it is filled and capped. The bottle is then allowed to continue along the conveyor to conveyor 2. The cap is wound onto the bottle and then waits at the end of the conveyor until there are 3 bottles in total. The bottles are then pushed onto the Stacker. This is repeated another 2 times so that there are 9 bottles on the Stacker. The stacker should then be lowered and the bottles will exit onto conveyor 3.

A coin is inserted into the coin slot. Once detected, if a drink button is pressed, the correct drink will be dispensed and the coin kept or if the reject button is pressed, the coin will be rejected and no drink will be dispensed.

A box travels down a conveyor. When it reaches the Rotary Table, the table should turn either left or right dependant upon the size of box. The relevant piston should move the box onto the correct conveyor and the box should then continue to the end of that conveyor.
