What are we looking for...


Hold a relevant first degree/equivalent with PGCE or QTS Have evidence of skills in engaging, motivating and inspiring young people aged 11-16 and adults to learn. Have evidence of skills in learning, teaching, assessment methods in line with those set out in core standards expected of a professional teacher. Have an outstanding teaching track record or the potential to develop one. Share our common values and have the X Factor!!!

Main Pay Scale, Full time, Hours in line with statutory requirements.
Required for September 2012, an enthusiastic graduate to teach Science across the school in our exciting KS3 STEM curriculum and through to GCSE and BTEC level. The successful candidate will share the common values of the school, be dedicated, organised and be totally committed to raising achievement through delivering consistently outstanding lessons. The school is particularly interested in candidates who have expertise in Chemistry or Physics. The school is also interested in candidates who have the ability to work collaboratively and innovatively, and who give their time and energy to leading cocurricular activities.
