1.0 TITLE THE PREFERENCE OF TAKING TUITION AMONG FORM SIX STUDENTS AND ITS BENEFITS

2.0 RESEARCHERS THINESSHWARAN A/L RAMASAMY(Leader) CHUNG WEI LOK, LEE YONG MENG, EVA YU KOH XING, MOH YUEN MUN. 3.0 SCHOOL Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Jalan Tasek, 31400, Ipoh , Perak. 4.0 REFLECTIONS ON PREVIOUS KNOWLEDGE Tuition is the art of teaching something for only one person or in groups. Numerous of advantages that we can get from attending tuition class.For instead, better understandings of certain subjects, more exercises, get extra knowledge and so on. On the other hand, there are some disadvantages that we can obtain from attending tuition class such as increase the burden of parents as the tuition fees are expensive , become competitive tool to the parents who compete their children result with others , lack of self access learning skills and so on 5.0 RESEARCH FOCUS The researchers will focus on the sixth form students to use it to identify the preference of taking tuition among form six students and its benefits. 6.0 RESEARCH OBJECTIVES 6.1 General Objective To find out whether Form 6 students of SMK Jalan Tasek prefer to attend tuition classes and the benefits that they can gain from it. 6.2 Specific Objective 6.2.1 To find out whether Form 6 students in our school agree or disagree. 6.2.2 To purpose the solution for Form 6 students in our school who

have problem in their studies.

7.0 TARGET GROUP Our target group for this colloquium project will be the Form 6 students randomly selected from the upper form 6 classes. 8.0 TENTATIVE ACTION PLANNED 8.1 Identify problem 8.2 Internet 8.3 Questionnaire 8.4 Presentation (Power Point and Video Clip)
