AFTER TRAVEL REPORT March 25, 2012 Travel day from Bontoc to Baguio. Rested more than a couple of hours, I proceeded to Manila and arrived thereat at 10:00 in the evening then rode a taxi to my boarding place in Sta. Mesa. March 26, 2012 7:00 AM to Bayview Park Hotel venue of the assessment meeting. - Registration in the morning. - Assessment meeting started at 1:00 PM. Executive Director Estanislao C. Granados of the Procurement Service welcomed the participants from the different regions in the Philippines while the other Central Office staff reported on their respective concerns on the status and the overall accomplishments of the Procurement Service. March 27, 2012 Reporting of accomplishments, issues and concerns of the different Procurement Service Depots per region. The Cordillera Administrative Region, to include Bontoc Sub-Depot was the first one to report. For Bontoc Sub-Depot, I reported a total sales of P2,829,176.25 for 2011, which represents 47% of our target sales for the year. This is attributed to lack of stocks and the the non-support of other National Government Agencies, LGUs and other offices in the province. Moreover, one factor for the low sales is that that the personnel manning our sub-depot are designates hence they cannot be pulled out anytime to attend to PS clientele. Thus, I requested for the recall of the designations of some designated personnel and hire JOs instead. Executive Director Granados scheduled a visit to Bontoc PS Sub-Depot sometime the third week of April with the hope that he can talk to the Governor. March 28, 2012 - Travel back from Manila Baguio March 29, 2012 Baguio to Bontoc.
